Soggiorno piacevole! Torneremmo, ma verificando alcune cose prima
Pros:

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per due notti. Posizione centralissima, parcheggio privato a pagamento a pochi minuti a piedi dall'hotel (tenere a mente che è impossibile raggiungere l'ingresso dell'hotel con l'auto anche solo per scaricare i bagagli perché è in zona pedonale e inoltre l'ingresso è su un vicolo molto stretto), personale molto gentile, letti comodissimi, abbondanza di cuscini a disposizione, set di cortesia nel bagno incluse ciabattine usa e getta, colazione ok (noi preferiamo la colazione dolce ma anche per quella salata c'erano varie pietanze, dai salumi e formaggi alle uova e bacon).
Siamo stati bene e se tornassimo a Trieste sceglieremmo di nuovo questo hotel, però verificando alcune cose prima (quelle riportate nella lista dei Negativi).

Cons:

La nostra stanza, al primo piano, affacciava in una piccolissima chiostra interna molto buia e parecchio fatiscente. Le finestre, esternamente, erano protette da reti, immagino a protezione dagli uccelli. Il tutto non invogliava a tenere aperte le finestre nemmeno per il normale ricircolo dell'aria.
Sotto alla finestra accanto al letto, dietro al termosifone, c'era una vistosa macchia di muffa. Il bagno era senza bidet (nella descrizione era specificato invece che ci fosse, consiglio di chiedere se per voi è una presenza preferibile), non aveva appendi asciugamani se non lo scaldasalviette posizionato però lontano dalla doccia.
Il wc era un wc per disabili. La cosa in sé è un grande segno di civiltà, però per chi non ne ha necessità l'utilizzo è davvero poco confortevole perché è molto più alto di un wc standard. Avrei apprezzato che la cosa ci fosse stata comunicata in fase di prenotazione, così da esprimere la nostra preferenza.
Il miscelatore della doccia funzionava male e avere l'acqua alla giusta temperatura era parecchio complicato (il miscelatore del lavabo invece funzionava correttamente).
Infine la ventola di areazione del bagno era rotta e non funzionava per niente (bagno cieco). Alla reception ci hanno detto che sarebbe venuto un elettricista per tentare la riparazione ma il problema non è stato risolto.

Charmantes Hotel garni im Herzen Triests
Pros:

Sehr gute Lage praktisch mitten in der Stadt mit damit verbundenen Vorteilen.
Trotz der räumlichen Enge im Frühstücksraum war das Frühstück reichhaltig und Fehlendes wurde umgehend nachgefüllt. Schön dass wir einen Platz im nahen Parkhaus bekamen.

Cons:

Bedingt durch die Lage in einer sehr engen, für KFZ unpassierbaren Strasse, gabs Transportschwierigkeiten mit Gepäck und Rollator, genauso musste für Navi und Taxi Ersatzadressen und Ersatzladezonen eines benachbarten Hotels verwendet werden.
Der Parkgaragenplatz war mit € 25 pro Tag relativ teuer.

Großartig und empfehlenswert - wir werden wieder dort und sehr gerne logieren
Pros:

"Klein, aber fein" so sagt man in Deutschland. Personal, hauptsächlich die Damen Nadine, Andrea und Signor Franco äußerst freundlich und jederzeit hilfsbereit, was Unternehmungen und Empfehlungen für Gastronomie angeht. Die tolle Lage des Hotels am Rande der Altstadt. Frühstück (italienisch) völlig ausreichend.

Cons:

Man kann das Hotel (Gebäude) nicht größer machen als es ist, - aber nochmals "Klein, aber fein". Es gibt keinerlei Kritikpunkte.

Perfectly located small hotel.
Pros:

The staff were extremely helpful. The manageress speaks fluent English and German and went out of her way to assist us. Despite being in the busy Cavana district, the street is quiet.
