The Diwa Club by Alila Diwa Goa - A Hyatt Brand

We stayed at The Diwa Club for several nights and found it to be a peaceful, well-designed resort with many thoughtful touches. While the setting and rooms are fantastic, there are a few areas where the service and guest experience could be refined to truly deliver on its five-star rating.
• Complimentary airport transfers were a great and made arrival seamless.
• Communication before arrival was easy, and our room was ready immediately — a spacious, top-floor suite in the centre of the resort and we were checked in, in the room.
• The birthday decorations in our room were thoughtful and beautifully done, including a towel “cake” and birthday motif on the bed. A cake and chocolates were also delivered later that day, which we appreciated.
• Genuinely one of the largest hotel rooms we’ve stayed in — spacious balcony, a huge very comfortable bed with high-quality linens, and a very large bathroom with dual sinks and wardrobes. A great sleep every night.
• The room’s lighting system deserves a mention — the “Night Time” mode keeps soft guide lights on, which was a well-designed touch for late-night bathroom trips.
• The 4pm tea/coffee with light Indian snacks and the 6pm evening drink and tapas are a nice idea, though in practice underwhelming.

All in all a lovely place would recommend the Club as only a little more expensive than the main hotel.

Lovely spacious quiet resort in a beautiful setting not far from the beach. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming.

What a wonderful stay we had at The DIWA club at ALILA. Beautiful property and the ALILA Host always made sure our stay was wonderful. The attention to detail in every aspect was just outstanding. We will for sure be visiting the place soon.

Beautiful property and spacious rooms. Breakfast was great and the staff members were very courteous and very accommodating. Pool facilities were great. excellent dining options in the specialty restaurants. The only thing that made me take a star away from the review was the toilet. The bathroom-toilet was a little bit of a disappointment - very large in size but waste of space. there was a door which opened into the toliet seat and was quite inconvenient to maneuver around!
Everything else was perfect for a quiet and comfortable stay

This Hotel is amazing - the staff are the friendliest people I have ever had the pleasure of staying with - nothing is too much for them and always with a smile! Very very polite too.

This was absolutely one of my best holidays to date and the entire staff at the Alili and Diwa were exceptional. The accommodations were absolutely top notch, food was spectacular and again, can I rave about the service! 5 Star all the way.

Hidden paradise, excellent rooms and pools and food too is just mouth watering. We loved our stay too much that we didnt even feel like going out to explore much. The hotel pampered us too much. We had an excellent birthday celebration weekend and the hotel staff decorated the room and bath beautifully. Would love to visit again.

In a word fabulous! Great room, particularly the bathroom facilities, with a splendid view over the exclusive pool and gardens.

The Diwa Club is well worth the extra cost. In its own separate area and with only around 30 rooms it has its own exclusive pool and restaurant and has a very quiet relaxed feel. However you also have the benefits of the larger hotel facilities a short walk away through the beautiful gardens.

The hotel is in a quiet area within the back lanes of Majorda and is a 15 min stroll to the beach however there is a free on-demand buggy service that only takes a couple of minutes. Outside the resort there are a couple of good local restaurants, some shops and a supermarket across the road from the entrance gates and many more options at the beach. The local bus service to Margao stops outside and makes for a fun outing to the large covered market in the town. Taxis are available either from the hotel or talk to the local guys outside the gate for best rates.

However its the staff that really make the difference here. They are courteous, friendly, attentive and genuine and always make you feel like you are their number 1 VIP guest - many thanks to them for a great holiday experience.
