My hotel suite got upgraded due to some booking issues, but they gave me a really good room with lots of space considering it was just myself. The lady at the front was super sweet and accommodating. Not amazing looks wise and isn’t super modern but does the job, considering I only needed a place to stay for like 2 days.
The location of the hotel is good where you can have plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Main attractions are within walking distance.
Helpful staff and they are trying to do anything to ensure the customers are satisfied.
The room was not as per the photos., The room was not clean, noisy AC and was not cooling properly. There was no safe box for 2 days until I got one. You need to ask everyday for room cleaning.
Poor hygiene with dirty towels left in the bathroom from previous room cleaning; ant roaming at the sink; dirty mirrow; not enough towels (only one towel!) given; broken chair (surprisingly it’s still used in the room and seem the owner does not care!) and no toilet tissue! No trash can in the room! Brought up the issues to the staffs and so far they just give the the trash can and one roll of bathroom tissue!!! Running down condition and poor customer service!!
There are lots of luxury hotels nearby, but it’s hard to find one with such a reasonable price and a prime location. Noble Swan is a fantastic choice if you want to save money but stay right in the heart of the city.
good value for the money paid
It was very basic. Major benefit location. Air conditioner dripped water, and some discolouring on wall nearby (mold?). Safe did not work. Notified staff, who told me they contacted a maintenance person. Next day when i asked a different staff member, she phoned and told me for some reason othing ould be done. Just wished the other person would have told me. Plus side for people, very cheap, like any place in Vietnam. Must ot up to standards of other places.
Check in smooth, staff very good
Room was dirty .stained towels wirh holes, ac poor, wifi not working at all, noisy. No drinking water in room, no toilet paper, no tissues,no coffee or tea..
Comfortable bed.
We had the misfortune of staying at one of these hotels. One we stayed at was Noble Swan Dong Du Saigon. The room was exceptionally outdated, the window was boarded up, and the shower flooded the whole of the bathroom area so you have to paddle through water to use the toilet in the middle of the night.
However we were originally booked for 3 nights, two of which were consecutive and the third was on our return from a Delta Cruise. When we got back from the cruise, the room had been given to somebody else and there was no availability in that hotel at all.
We told them it was their mistake and that they must find us a room. Their first ploy was to try and fob us off with a different hotel in an area far from the area we were in. After that they tried several more hotels which we found unacceptable as we knew nothing about them and they were far from where we wanted to be and they were of inferior standard. We knew that they had a sister Hotel also in the same area so we asked that we be transferred over there. We were originally told the hotel in question was also fully booked for the night. However when we refused to go to the inferior hotels eventually one of the managers at the other Hotel got involved and miraculously found us a room in the sister Hotel. We were upgraded and quite frankly had no complaints whatsoever about our new room. The beds were also comfortable and we had a proper shower which did not flood the bathroom area. The whole experience was far better than the previous hotel. However on perusing the pictures on booking.com the Dong Du hotel had pictures of the other Noble Swan, please exercise caution when booking as you might not get a room the same as the pictures on the advert.
The original Noble Swan Dong Du was a pitiful experience and the only reason I have given it a three-star etcetera is because eventually after 2 hours of haggling they upgraded us and put us in the superior Noble Swan Hotel.
Bed was comfortable.

Its close to everything that I wanted.
The staff were really friendly and the location was good, close to the centre
The property was really dirty throughout. When we arrived, the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. It had rubbish in the bins, the floor was filthy, the bathroom sink was full of shaven/tweezed hairs and the toilet was covered in dirt. The floors hadn’t been mopped or cleaned and the hotel had a dingy feel to it. We arrived at 12:30am so we just went straight to sleep. The next morning I got up and asked the staff it they could either clean the room or we would check out, the cleaner came and quickly swept the floor and left, leaving the bathroom still covered in hairs and dirt, with rubbish in the bins.
I also chose a room with a window, the window looked out into the fire escape which was still inside of the hotel, frustrating as the room was really dark. I wouldn’t stay here again as there are much cleaner properties for the same price range. It was definitely expensive for what we got
It was what I expected for this type hotel. But shower head leaking more than shower coming out, bed is very hard but normal for Vietnam, couch was full of dirty stains.
£17 was the cheapest I found in discrict 1 so the location was great, but very much a budget room so that is reflected in the price and quality of hotel. A couple of cockroaches but at least there was air con so that was great! Thankfully was able to cancel the second night with a refund so that made me happy.
Disgustingly dirty. Hair and dried snot everywhere, stains on the walls, sheets and furniture. Smelled like cigarette smoke. Air-conditioner broken. Staff were rude and did not care about the state of things. We had to leave as we both felt so sick.
