Hotel sign said LUXURY but it was not luxurious, it was an ok hotel. Needed some updates carpet old.
Pros:

We liked the location. It was close to stores and restaurants and not far from entrance to Assateague and beach.

Cons:

The room was small. We were supposed to have a king bed with pool view. We got a queen bed with a view of back parking lot and wooded lot.

It was ok. Chincoteague is an awesome place to vacation
Pros:

Quiet location 1/4 mile from the bridge to Assateague National Seashore. Outdoor pool was nice and quiet. My wife and I ate breakfast outside at the tables by the pool

Cons:

Breakfast was not good. Only one waffle maker for the 7:00 AM crowd. I’m glad it was only a 3 night stay.

Probably one of the best places to stay
Pros:

Mr. T and the rest of the staff was AMAZING and super kind, friendly and accommodating!!! One of the best experiences we've had on the island and we've been going to the island for about 15 years now.

Cons:

Leaving and coming back home lol.

Pros:

The staff was awesome and courteous. It was also very quiet and relaxing, the ac was cold and the water was hot.

Cons:

The shower didnt have an inner lining so it got the floor wet and the carpet in the room needed a super deep clean.

Cons:

Room 126 has a mildew explosion. The room was not clean when we checked in. The previous customer's dirty towels were on the floor on the bathroom floor. The bathroom floor has busted tiles that can cut your feet. The bed sheets had not been changed. The mattress springs were messed up. The furniture surfaces were not clean. They moved us to room 125. It was cleaner. The toilet seat has a hole in it. The toilet itself is tiny and looks like it was made for toddlers.The walls in that room had some kind of grime on them. The lamp on the desk had no lamp shade. The lamp shades in the back corner of the room looked like someone took a cigarette lighter and burned all the way around the bottom edge of the lamp. The refrigerator has broken parts inside. The mattress in room 125 was also terrible. It killed our backs. I really do not understand how this hotel managed to have as high a rating as it does. For 200 a night I should have gotten paid for the pain and suffering. I will be reporting this place to the health department.

Potentially good stay marred by dirt and musty odor.
Pros:

Charming building in a great location for visiting Chincoteague.

Cons:

The carpets, especially in the lobby, halls, and stairway, were filthy. It was so off putting and sad. There was also a strong musty odor in my room that air conditioning did not alleviate.

Older hotel trying to improve
Pros:

Older hotel, staff welcoming, but struggling to upkeep an older hotel. No ADA accesabilty ramp. Staff trying well with what shows limited budgets and accessibility to new products.

Pros:

The location was perfect. The pool was great.

Cons:

We couldn't eat anything at your breakfast, it is pathetic. There is no elevator. The only ramp is at the front, but all parking is in the back. We didn't even know about the ramp.
