Neat place to stay. Very friendly staff. Preglo very nice and courteous. Place nice and clean.

No Wi-Fi that’s reliable I cannot use my cellphone for the whole 4 days stay

Internet was terrible. Hotel is a little worn. Service was very good. Location is so-so

This hotel is old. Rooms are old. Many things need to be fixed. A little difficult to find.
Located in old part of cebu city. Difficult to go out and travel outside of hotel. Lots of traffic. Can be a headache!
However, area around hotel is safe.

This hotel is a little difficult to find. On a side street. Safe, but, not too accessible by car. Old hotel with restaurant. Not many dishes to choose from.
Walking distance to malls and street vendors. However, area not clean, lots of traffic and people. Roads are bad with no sidewalks to use. Going out can be a hassle and annoying. 7-11 right next to hotel, for me, was the best thing about this hotel. Will never stay here again. Too much trouble.

Listing say complimentary breakfast, but there was no breakfast included.
WIFI was non existent, and the TV had no connection or channels available.

-The card to open the door does not working so we have to wait in front of the door for someone to fix it;
- room was smelly;
- Towels have a strong smell of clorine;
- During the check-in they told us that we have to pay for the breakfast and after they saw my booking mail with Expedia they said that actually the breakfast is free. And like it was not enough, in the morning I've foud out that they have only philippino breakfast for free. If you want american breakfast, they have, but you have to pay. I think that Expedia should provide all this information at the moment of booking. Instead sayning " free breakfast included" , they ahould say " philippino breakfast for free ; american breakfast available surcharge)" .

First time stay in Golden Valley & service was quite good. Room was clean & comfortable but bed may need to be replaced soon. Restaurant offered several food choices. Good for business travellers as area is centrally located.

The check in time is 2:00 PM but we waited almost 2 hours because the hotel staff said, "the room is not ready" & their reason is they are busy! :( We booked the hotel 1 week ahead of time & it was fully paid yet the room is not ready. We booked a family room with 3 single beds but they put us on a studio type with only 1 bed. We requested another bed but they charged us per night for that request. The hotel staff promised us to be transferred to a family room on the second day as what we booked but it did not happen until we check out. We check out & we transferred to another big hotel. Upon check out, they let us pay for second bed plus the buffet breakfast in which we booked a family room with breakfast included already. Horrible!!! Plus they let us pay the little leftover foods we bring in the hotel from outside, really??? This is horrible!!! We called many, many times, long distance call & the hotel staff hang us up for a long time, passing the call from person to person. When we call for just asking a simple question, you will talk to 3-4 different people until your question be answered. When we call the reservation, they confirmed its ok, everything will be fine, we don't need to pay additional for the second bed, we don't need to pay for the buffet breakfast because its already included in the amount we fully paid online when we book the family room.

Great customer service, old run down hotel in ghetto neighborhood with bad food in cafe. Convenient though for us traveling through and staff was so nice!

Access to plenty of clubs and restaurants central Cebu city

The hotel is 45min from Lapu-Lapu Mactan International Airport. It's very near to almost everywhere. All the tourist spot in Cebu, even the newest SM Seaside, Cebu South Bus terminal, Larsian, Crown Ragency Hote (Where you can do Sky Walking) and the likes! :) almost most of the spots is near the hotel,very accessible! :) They also serve free breakfast too! If you are just looking for a budget hotel, this is for you! Across the street there is Jolibee and all the means of transportation is at the end of the street. The staff is also approachable and hospitable. It's like you're second home in Cebu.

Worst hotel i've ever stayed in. Bed bugs were in my bed, i had to transfer to another hotel even if I already booked here in advance. I saw a bug in my bed and discovered to more bugs clinging at my back while I showered. I deserve a refund for this.
