Séjour au calme dans une maison de charme
Pros:

Nous avions une chambre spacieuse dans une maison de charme. Le jardin est superbe et la piscine très agréable . Tout est beau et raffiné . Le petit déjeuner est assez varié et copieux . Le personnel est très agréable . Très grand parking privé . La voiture est indispensable pour descendre dîner en ville . Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement au calme et les conseils du personnel pour les visites de l’île .

A lovely stay - we would come back.
Pros:

The staff were amazing, helpful with taxis and very friendly. The views across to Pico from our room on the top floor were spectacular. The pool area was quiet and calm.

Cons:

We loved this hotel but can see that it would not be any good for people with mobility issues - it was a 10 minute walk down a hill into the town. That said reception seemed to have taxis on speed dial.
There was no lunch available at the hotel but most people were out sightseeing.
This hotel is not flashy, brand new but is perfectly comfortable with fantastic staff.

Toller Ausblick oberhalb der Stadt.
Pros:

Ich hatte ein Zimmer mit tollem Ausblick über die Dächer der Stadt zum Pico. Das Frühstück war gut. Das Restaurant für den Abend habe ich nicht getestet, da lockt das Peter Cafe Sport mehr. Aber es gibt eine gemütliche Bar. Es stehen ausreichend Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Das Hotel ist etwas einfacher als das Azoris Faial Garden, aber auch preiswerter. Es liegt etwas oberhalb des Zentrums, man muss ein paar Minuten laufen.

Cons:

Der Gesamteindruck von außen ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Der Aufstieg von der Stadt ist durchaus schweißtreibend.

Das Frühstück war ok war aber auf 3 Stern Niveu.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist alt, die Zimmer sind zwar mit neuen Betten ausgestattet aber insgesamt abgewohnt. Das Hotel ist kein 4 Stern Hotel. Es ist ein 3 Stern , dass eine Generalsanierung notwendig hat.
