Excellent!
Pros:

Everything! Couldn’t have asked for more to be comfortable. After nearly 3 weeks on our road trip we were hoping for a large comfortable bed with a good shower, so were happy to be able to enjoy. Room spacious and hotel close to many eateries, bars and breweries. Not to mention their own collaboration with numerous food outlets adjoining the hotel - great concept. Parking is available if booked and paid for ahead.
Great walks to being near the beach board walk.

A brief but enjoyable couple of days spent at this hotel.
Pros:

The location was excellent with car parking on site, restaurants and cafes next door or a short walk away. Our room was spacious with a large bed, sofa, chair and desk with fully equipped kitchenette. The room was also quiet.

Cons:

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

Good place to stay in New Plymouth
Pros:

The room was really clean. Comfortable bed. Nice shower. We had lots of room. We got an upgrade and had a balcony which was great. Very central. Really helpful chap front of house.

Superb
Pros:

A fabulous hotel. We had a beautiful room, spacious, well decorated and equipped with a small balcony. There are excellent dining options both adjacent and near to the hotel. If we ever return we will use this venue again.

Way better than I expected in every way
Pros:

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel and I must say it is far better in person than it is on the Internet! It was easy to get to, and even had our name on the parking place when we arrived.
The woman at reception was exceptional. Friendly, professional, and helpful. There is beautiful artwork throughout the hotel and the suite we had was a good size with all that you might need. There is even a small balcony where you can sit and soak in the atmosphere.
While the hotel itself does not have a restaurant there are a few eateries attached in a courtyard: pizza, asian, a wine bar, and a coffee place - all of which we sampled. All excellent.
The service here and in the eateries is also excellent. We will definitely come back next time we are in New Plymouth
