Great boutique hotel with fabulous staff at the edge of Palermo
Pros:

We stayed at Magnolia Hotel for seven nights (split in two either side of two nights at the Iguazu Falls). It was our first time in Buenos Aires and Magnolia was the perfect place for us. It had the advantages of a hotel but the warmth and friendliness of friends. The Palermo area is great and was just a short walk away. The hotel was a lovely place to return to each day. Our room was spacious and there is a comfortable lounge area. Breakfast was very good too with a range of dishes. But the real highlight is the staff. Someone was on the front desk all hours. They were all extremely helpful and friendly. They were able to assist with transfers, and arranged a massage booking for me in addition to advice about transport and things to do eg tango shows.
