Regenta Central Jal Mahal, Jaipur

Nice location across from Jal Mahal - however obviously only rooms on one side of the building actually have a view of the Jal Mahal! Beds were comfortable but the pillows were a bit big and hard. Water in the shower was never warmer than like warm. Hallway was in need of vacuuming when we came in, though the room was clean. Breakfast buffet was good. Overall good value for the price, not too far of a drive from the Amer Palace and Jager Fort and also the City Palace and Hawa Mahal aren’t too far a drive away.

View was good only; cleanliness and hospitality was not good

Location is very good and the Dinner facility at roof top is mind blowing

Restaurant could have been cleaner. Walls, windows, tables needed to be cleaned. Chairs grubby. Place shabby; needs a face lift. Good location. Breakfast quite good
Front desk staff need to be friendlier. Smile wouldn't go astray.

The hotel is a good attempt at what has the potential but the service just pulls it horribly in the wrong direction. If only they could improve on service and give the customer the experience, the ratings would be very different.

It was a pleasant stay in Regenta,Room was kept clean and tidy,service was good and it is very near to jal mahal but food cost is bit expensive.

Wifi connectivity was superb. A good 5 Mbps. Available in every room and the hotel staff were Kot stingy in giving out the wifi passwords.

Toilets and rooms were well kept.

All in all, this was the best hotel I have stayed in India to date.

Good hotel with all modern amenities.Rooms will make u feel like an expensive hotel. The room rent makes it a good budget hotel but food is very expensive ( 5 star rates) so this becomes a good expensive hotel. (There's an old saying.hold ear from this side or other).Otherwise a very good hotel ,food is excellent ,courteous staff, situated in a calm place and excellent view of jal mahal.If luking for good budget hotel then this is the one in jaipur but with terms & conditions on food rates.

Our stay was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff who advised us on the tourist places to visit and also assisted in booking our onward journey. Nice and clean room. Good location overlooking the Jal Mahal.

we checked in the hotel at 4:00 pm. the front desk staff got our luggage to the lobby,[surprised] went to the room 101 on the first floor, very well appointed room, good view from the window of kanak vrundavan structures on north east and jaygarh on the northwest. do not peek through window to see a badly maintained open space and a hotel in the next plot. very pleasing walk along the Jalmahal lake in the evening, nice tasty sumptuous breakfast, and dinner at pinxx restaurant on first floor, very friendly and cordial staff breath taking morning and night views from rooftop terrace, 10 minutes walk to Kanak Vrundavan,10 minutes drive to Jaigarh & Amber fort
nonos: the room and restaurant service lacked promptness, the trays were outside the room for long time, limited staff trying to manage most of the things gave an impression the hotel was about to be sold to handed over to new management and we were there during transition.

Great value for the price.Stayed comfortable with family of 4.We had the room with the beautiful view of Jal Mahal overseeing the lake.Room was modern with a small refrigerator.Bed was large enough for us ie wife and kids 6 and 4 years.Mattress was comfatable,.Morning buffet was great.Their lunch buffet was though not good.Costumer service was always with quick and with a smile.

Excellent view from Club room. Restaurant services need to improve. Hot water not avalable, only warm water in bathroom.

We had a great time! For that price the hotel feels like a five star compared to many other ones we tried. The breakfast is huge and delicious. Also a buffet lunch is must try. Don't forget to head to rooftop to watch sunset over Jaipur and have dinner.
