Family friendly, great location
Pros:

Great spot for families, with pool, lots of games, playground, etc. Excellent location within 5 minutes of major beaches and 10 min from downtown Wellfleet.

The Even’tide is a Cape classic.
Pros:

Front desk staff was so lovely. Room was clean and comfortable. It had a a wonderful nostalgia for old cape motels. I loved it.

Amazing vacation
Pros:

It was clean and there was a lot for my children to do there. The pool is big and the staff was so kind and helpful. We will definitely be back next summer!

Cons:

I wish they had a designated smoking area away from the front of the rooms, we had heavy smokers on either side of us and every time we went outside they were out there smoking cigarettes, which was unpleasant for us and our kids.

A cozy stay in a remarkably spacious room!
Pros:

Our stay at Even'tide was wonderful! We arrived later than anticipated, but were greeted by a cheerful, amiable staff member who quickly checked us in. She also introduced us to a number of restaurants nearby, guided us through local transportation options (we being out-of-towners), and was just a general joy. She helped make a long day of travel even better. If I recall correctly, the front desk closes by around 10:00pm, so be sure to arrive generously before then.

Our room was incredibly spacious and well-equipped; just as described/shown in the Booking.com photo reels, even if the aesthetics were a little bit more dated. But no matter. Beds were large and comfortable, AC worked like a charm, shower water was clean and hot if so desired. Coffee and tea were served in the morning, and enjoyed that. The location was also great, embedded in the woods off a main highway, making it feel like a genuine plunge into the *real* Cape Cod rather than simply sticking around a tourist trap.

Cons:

Although some breakfast options would've been nice (no meals are served), it was no problem, as there were restaurants open for breakfast just a short walk's distance from Even'tide.

Also would NOT recommend travelling there by bike - definitely go by car! We biked almost the whole way from Provincetown to the hotel; though Google Maps promised a pleasant 1.5 hour journey, in reality it took 3.5 hours (we ubered the rest of the way). Which is to say that Google Maps shouldn't be trusted for bicycle travel on the Cape. But this of course is not Even'tide's doing - it is Google's!

Glad I stayed
Pros:

I was a bit concerned that the room didn’t have a microwave to warm up leftovers. After calling the desk, I learned there is one in the main lobby. It wasn’t too far from my room. That issue didn’t end up being a problem for me. The room and property was MUCH CLEANER AND NICER than expected. I stayed for 2 days on technically “off season” and was solo so I didn’t use any amenities.

Cute place, great for kids, nice indoor pool, great location. Froze overnight. Surly staff.
Pros:

The 3 Bed Cottage we rented was compact but cute with a small but well equipped kitchen. The indoor pool was great as was the location, just 10 minutes south of downtown Wellfleet.

Cons:

It was quite cold and windy during our one-night stay. When we arrived, we had to turn on the heat which took a few hours to heat up the Living Room to 72. The bedrooms had no heat and never got above the low 60's. When we went to bed at 11PM, we discovered that none of us had blankets - only a sheet and a thin bedspread. We slept in our clothes and piled pillows on top to stay warm. Upon check-out, I suggested they stock the cottage with blankets to which she replied that they have them at the front desk and we should have asked for them. Note that the front desk closes at 10PM. To add insult to injury, the refrigerator didn't work which we didn't realize until the morning so we had to throw out most of our food. The desk staff said it was probably the circuit breaker. It would have been nice if they had a pre-check-in checklist where they turn on the heat, check that everything is working, and stock some blankets in the broomcloset when it's cold out!

comfortable and clean room
Pros:

The layout of the room was odd. I never seen a room constructed this way. It was functional, but odd.
