Courtyard New York Manhattan/Times Square West

I love this hotel and it is my go to every time I visit NYC. It is recently renovated so the rooms and public space are beautiful. However, it is the staff that make it special. They always remember me, greet me by name, and Bob, the General Manager, is often in the lobby welcoming guests himself. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Had an excellent experience here on a work trip.

2 night stay at a perfect location which from the start felt exceptionally safe.
Reception staff welcoming and always available for advice.
Room was perfect and served our very needs.spoiltlessly clean and very quiet.
Plenty of coffee and tea available.
Breakfast very limited but we'll prepared.
Really couldn't fault this hotel and thoroughly enjoyed.

Stayed here for 5 nights on my first solo visit to the USA. Felt super safe, room was clean and staff were amazing! Room was very spacious and bathroom was too. Was never a hassle getting a taxi from hotel. Bell man was amazing! Location is ideal for tourists.

1. Bathroom has a real door. So many NYC hotels do the pocket door/stall and I like this has a proper bathroom in the room
2. Amazing view, try to get a room facing the street
3. Clean
4. Water pressure was immaculate
5. Super friendly staff

I met a client for drinks in The Bistro. Debbie, the bartender, is so welcoming and friendly. She made us the best old fashioneds!

Just checked out from a 5 night stay during Thanksgiving week. This hotel is safe, very clean, close to everything, and staff is amazing. Shout out to Aaron who is so personable and helpful, he always went out of his way to speak to us and make us feel welcomed. 100% would stay again!

First the good points. Location very good close to Times Square. They allowed early check in free of charge. Conveniently located water fountain (get your own bottles). They will do a daily housekeeping only if you request else every other day).

Bad points: location is a little uncomfortable at night due to homeless people on the streets. Room looked out into a shabby office building. They will charge $75 if you request late checkout. They do not provide body lotion in the bathroom - literally the only Marriott or rather hotel where I found such an awkward policy. No closets or drawers provided other thN a few hangers. Room is poorly lit.

I enjoyed this property. It was clean and quiet (no issues with noise) and air conditioning worked well. They had a bit of extra space and gave me an early check in by around an hour or so which was much appreciated. I'd recommend it here and stay again.

The breakfast was meh. But otherthan that a good property. Oh and gym was also meh. But still overall clean and quiet and modern.

The staff are fantastic and I would especially like to recognize Crystal Morales at check in and Brian who handled our luggage, both were excellent at accommodating and helpful with information.

The Courtyard by Marriott Times Square West was exactly what I expected. It's not a bad price (well ... relative to other crazy NY hotel price levels!), the location is excellent, steps off 8th Avenue and close to transport, sightseeing, restaurants and shops. And (the reason I chose it), just 5 minutes walk from Penn Station and Moynihan Train Hall. The room was a decent size (again ... relative to most very, very small NY hotel rooms). There's a good desk area for working, and the bathroom was spacious. Front desk were friendly and helpful. There's a basic cafe downstairs that sells rather overpriced breakfast stuff - much easier to go to one of the nearby coffee shops in my opinion, for cheaper, tastier food and drink. But it's convenient to have something on site. I would return. It's nothing amazing or out of the ordinary, but a good, solid choice that ticks all the right boxes.
