Disappointed with our choice , not recommended
Pros:

We were extremely disappointed with our choice of booking our stay at Monterio , to start with there was no breakfast buffet which was a part of the deal when we booked it online at Expedia , the hotel reception was stunned to notice that breakfast buffet was to be provided ; they do not even have a proper restaurant to have such an arrangement.

The staff seems to be completely relying on the hotel manager for every request that was made and the manager is never to be seen in the hotel.

Pros:

Nice place,constructed along the slope of a forested hillock.some rooms have great views but the one we were allotted was more like a solitary cell without a view probabaly because we had older people in our group. Would be great if they have some sort of conveyance to get to the higher places in the property. Poco loco service and food was excellent. Overall a good place.

Pros:

Hotel rooms are good but the restaurant - Poco Loco is highly understaffed and has the slowest service in the world. Order your food atleast an hour in advance. However, the grocery shop within the hotel premises and the gym, pool, etc. are among the good things.

THE PLACE TO BE IF YOU’RE IN GOA!!!
Pros:

Overlooking the Arpora river is this gorgeous resort serving as the perfect antidote for a stressed out mind. Picturesque sights and the kind hotel staff make your stay worthy and a memorable one. Suitable for Indians and foreigners alike as the resort is conservative and yet not too repressing. Slow service and the average food at the Loco Poco - Mexican restaurant situated in the resort - is a bit disappointing. Nevertheless while packing and leaving one cannot resist the feeling that this is the place to be if you’re in Goa!!!
