The worst place of the many hotels we booked on a two week vacation out west.

Cons:

The owner/manager falsely advertised that he was a 4 star with a picture of a horse statue. No statue and a 2 star hotel. I don't necessarily need a 4 star hotel, but thought it was a good deal. Booking.com you did not do your due diligence in reviewing this place. He was not gracious at all about the false advertising and refused the return of funds. Lesson learned. I will not give card info until arrival, ever. I refused to stay and will be going thru my credit card co. to get a refund.

The stay was ok but not great
Pros:

The room was larger than expected and the bed was very comfortable.

Cons:

Upon entering the room there was a dirty towel on the refrigerator shelving unit. The drain to the bathtub was rusty and appeared to have mold.

Pros:

Staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice and very clean. The hot breakfast was great.

Cons:

The bed was lopsided. You could tell the side of the bed that is used most. I’m thinking mattresses have not been replaced in years. Other than that which is a very important part of a hotel room, the place was great and the price was reasonable.

Manager was horrible, we had 7 rooms for a funeral.
Pros:

Coffee was cold.

Cons:

We booked 7 rooms for 2 nights each for a funeral. I received a call about an hour before check-in stating theres issues with my card and that I had 15 minutes to pay and my check-in time wasn't even until 3! On my last night I asked the lady at the front desk (Freah) for a late check out she said sure 1pm. And wrote it down. The next day as were getting dressed for the funeral we received a call on the bedroom phone it was (jeeroy) saying theres issues with my card again he tried charging me another night! I told him front desk gave us until 1pm, and he said NO you have 10 minutes to leave or you have to pay for another night or pay $25 to stay until 1pm, this is at 12:30..I walked down to the front desk to speak with him and he immediately said "they do what they want" (employees) and pointed to stuff stapled to the wall and said the rules are checkout is at 11.! This guy is the G.M...I ended up paying the $25 for the extra 30 minutes. Its crazy that he waited until 12:30 to try and charge me for all those extra rooms without even talking to me 1st. Why not call the room at 11 ,11:15, 11:45.? Why wait that long to contact us? Not to the dirty rooms and my daughter's room smelled like musty,humid, dog pi** where you can tell the A/C was off for a long time.he wouldn't even let her seap rooms he handed her a large can of air freshener! I firmly believe he was trying to take an opportunity of having a "full house" and tried billing me the extra rooms before asking on purpose.!
