Pros:

Great location and walkability.
Nice size room for the value.

Cons:

While the common areas were clean, cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired. Then there were the little brown flying bugs. Maybe because we were close to the water, but they were a constant nuisance. Overall, would not stay here again.

It was okay but I probably wouldn’t go back.
Pros:

Some of the staff was very nice and accommodating.

Cons:

They checked us in 30 minutes late. The AC did not work and we told staff 3 different times. When they decided to fix it, we weren’t allowed in the room for the morning. Making our morning rough with 2 dogs and a toddler. One staff didn’t even acknowledge us or address the problem.

Pros:

Everything was perfect! Beach across the street and restaurants all within walking distance. Coffee shops too and ice cream

Cons:

Only thing I wasn’t aware I had to pay a daily parking fee but most likely my fault for not reading everything

The parking was accessible and free. It is also walkable to the beach.

Cons:

I was expecting the deck at the Lighthouse Restaurant by the bay to be accessible directly from inside the hotel, as I was traveling with two seniors. It was difficult to wheel them from the room down to the parking lot, then drive around to access the restaurant. Having a more convenient indoor route would have made the experience much easier for us.

expensive and no perks
Pros:

Nothing to brag about, not treated with any perks for being a Hyatt member during stay, would not honor early check in and actually I got confirmation to check in after official check in time. Very pricey for this hotel.

Dewey beach best hotel
Pros:

Great staff dog friendly close to bars and the beach. Great place to vacation with your family and friends. The lighthouse restaurant is really nice and has the best sunset views.

Family Vacation Must!!
Pros:

A wonderful stay for families! I cannot say enough about the hotel, from the amazing staff to the amenities, it was truly a perfect vacation. The staff is super friendly and available for any questions or additional things you might need during your stay. The location couldn't be better, with the pool access on site (indoor and outdoor), the bay beach just steps from the room and the beach a block away! The restaurants are all in walking distance so no need to go too far. Park your car and leave it in the covered garage until it's time to head home! Highly recommend!!!! I could go on! :)

Great hotel with great staff
Pros:

I stayed there with my family from 08/18-08/20. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly. Mia checked us in, and she was very helpful and cheerful. I will stay here again in the future.

Good food, clean hotel, awesome staff.
Pros:

Great experience very friendly staff, very clean hotel, restaurant was great.
Housekeeping came very early, so be ready for that. Breakfast was one of the better hotel free Breakfast I've had in all of my travels.

Great location
Cons:

We had to have our room changed as our neighbors were so loud with a barking dog. Had to check out one room at 11 and wait til 4 to check in to the second room.

Hyatt Place Dewey Beach
Pros:

Overall it is a very clean and well run hotel, family friendly, with close access to the beach (1 block away) that sits on the bay side. The rooms are very spacious and are cleaned daily, fresh paint, and renovations to the rooms was recently made. Breakfast is a definite plus and outstanding. The only draw back from previous visits was the addition of a $15 a day parking garage fee, it used to be free.
