Staff are very nice and helpful!

Outstanding pub! Well appointed rooms, tasteful and charming decor. We stayed here while walking the Cotswold Way. We had lunch in town before checking in and chatted with locals in the area. Each time we said we had reservations at The Crown the response would be ‘oh, great pub!’, or ‘delicious food’, or ‘oh, that’s a proper pub’. The Crown lived up to it all! Kate was a wonderful host and took care of all our needs setting us up with a trail lunch and everything. Our dinner was incredibly delicious as well. We couldn’t have been more pleased!

Lovely room friendly staff amazing breakfast

A 2 night stop in business. The room was spotlessly clean with a nice, personalized, welcome note. The bed was very comfortable and the shower amazing.

Staff could not do enough to help and

Food in the restaurant was very good and judging by how busy it was when I arrived on Sunday, it is very popular.

The only downside which is totally outside the control of the hotel is the time it takes to get out of the junction onto the A46 which runs alongside the hotel (no traffic noise in the rooms which was welcome)

I would highly recommend The Crown Inn and am looking forward to returning there in the spring of 2025

Cannot fault my stay. After a long day, friendly service and super warm and cosy for November evening. In particluar Kirstie at brekafast, who made me smile before my 4 hour drive home. Recommneded, and will look to stay again when Im not in such a rush.

Fantastic pub / Hotel, I would definitely recommend.
The rooms are clean spacious and modern, the restaurant has a big choice of food and drink.

Inn was clean, food was great. Coming on foot from the Cotswold Way was kind of difficult, we stayed for more than five minutes on the side of the busy road waiting to securely cross the road.

This inn was gorgeous. It was like stepping back in time. It was easy to find and the parking lot is easy to access and depart from. The room we were staying in was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The English breakfast that was included was tasty and thoroughly enjoyable. When staying in Chippenham, do not hesitate to book The Crown Inn.

Absolutely fabulous place. Have stayed here many times. Staff are great. The coffee is amazing. The rooms are lovely. It’s one of my go-to places when I am in the area.
