Pros:

La ubicación, sin ninguna duda. St Austell es perfecto para conocer Cornualles al estar en una situación central en el condado y el hotel de encuentra al lado de la estación de tren y desde ahí poder recorrer la zona sin necesidad de usar automóvil

Apart from the negative comments we had a very enjoyable stay at the White Hart.
Pros:

The property was very nice and comfortable. The staff were excellent and very friendly.

Cons:

There were 2 main dislikes. One was the fact that there was no lift considering the number of flights of stairs that had to be climbed to access the 2nd floor bedrooms. This hotel is not suitable for anyone who has mobility issues.
The other personal issue was the fact that the shower ( although excellent) was in the bath and there was no safety hand rail on the wall in the bath. If you are of an age 65+ you tend to rely on a hand rail when moving in a shower.

Pros:

Everything was really nice. It’s a charming, classic hotel in a small town with a lovely atmosphere. The hotel has a nice traditional style, and the staff were very friendly.

Lovely family stay, brilliant friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were lovely, breakfast fantastic and great location

Cons:

The window in the door of our room had a street light outside which shone straight into room where I was sleeping on sofa bed - a small curtain would have been good - but staff were lovely and I should have asked I’m sure they would have sorted something

Not cosy or quaint nothing inspiring but the staff were lovely.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good but not the usual st Austell chain standard

Cons:

The parking was tricky away from the property & over a busy road but grateful for free parking. The building needs a refurbishment it’s just a bit tacky and the location was not great there’s nothing to offer locally and no pub with a garden the area was very run down

Fantastic and resting.
Pros:

The staff go above and beyond helping with all questions. The food was fresh and the fish was delicious. The room was comfortable and clean and a fan was provided as it was so warm.

Cons:

Nothing . This hotel is lovely and all they need to do is continue what they are doing

Super! Great location for St Austell station and buses. Although the town is sad, like so many now, it is a great base.
Pros:

Helpful, friendly staff, who made us feel so welcome. What a great team! Quality food, especially the sea bass special. We had a family room and the bed was very comfortable. Also enjoyed an amazing cocktail, with surprise ingredients! We’ve named it the Sunshine Hart!

Absolutely loved it and can’t wait to go back and enjoy more of the area.
Pros:

The location was perfect. What a beautiful building and perfectly clean. A lovely touch to put a fan in the room prior to arrival. And it was certainly needed given the hot weather. The stay was made perfect by the staff. Every member were very attentive and so friendly. They are a credit to the company.

Cons:

Just the heat, but there was nothing you could do about that. You can’t control the weather.

Pros:

This place is a gem - one of the best hotel experiences I‘ve ever made. It‘s unique, cosy and the staff is amazing. Also the food was delicious. Whenever I should go back to St Austell The White Hart will be the place to stay. 🫶
