Our stay was wonderful except for the internet.
Pros:

The hotel was walking distance to tourist sites and lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Our room was large and beautiful. The staff were nice and helpful. The breakfast buffet was good.

Cons:

The only problem we encountered was the very slow internet even in the early hrs. of the day. I have to go to the lobby in order to have a good connection. Our room was on Level 1, #11.

Pros:

가장 좋았던 점은 직원분들이 정말 친절하고 잘 도와줘서 지내는 동안 불편함 없이 잘 지냈습니다. 방 컨디션 좋고 넓고, 깨끗하고 좋았습니다. 조식은 평타이고, 숙소 근처에 바로 편의점있어서 좋았습니다.

Cons:

모기가 좀 있긴했었는데 직원분한테 말하니까 바로 모기향 주셔서 해결했어요. 관광지(벽화거리) 도보 15-20분정도 걸렸던거같습니다.

Charmantes historisches Hotel
Pros:

Ein früher Check in war unproblematisch und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es gab ein ehrliches Frühstück (für jeden etwas dabei), um in den Tag zu starten. Da unser Zimmer direkt zur Hauptstraße ausgerichtet war, waren die Straßengeräusche sehr present. Die Lage des Hotel ist aber dennoch prima um die interessantesten Spots zu erreichen.

Enjoyable stay, but next time would choose a morw quiet room witj proper air con.
Pros:

If you are looking for an experience this place is for you. Elegant house. We stayed in a terrace house. Good location, close to george town.

Cons:

Air con was not suffucient enough in early Match temperatures. As well if you are looking for quiet room, terrace house is not for you.

Historic building vibe was great.
Pros:

Location. The decor and artworks. Decent checkout time. There was a lift to all floors.

Cons:

Rooms weren’t serviced every day. Normally I don’t mind this, but there just wasn’t enough of anything for 3 days. Only two towels (thin), two each of tea bags and coffee. Toilet roll ran out on third morning ( the box of tissues filled the gap).

Very pleasant stay but staff could have been more accommodating
Pros:

Superb old timey hotel building, the room decor is traditional, with antique furnitures, but facilities have been brought up to modern standards which makes for a very pleasant stay overall

Cons:

Room advertised for 2 double beds and a sofa bed, sleeps 5. But the sofa bed is not usable for sleeping, so we had to request for an additional mattress.

Pros:

The hotel was beautiful! the room was exactly as it shows in the pictures. The bed was big and comfy, the bathroom and bath was great, clean as well. The staff and people around was always friendly. The breakfast was delicious. The location is near all the good spots of George town, you can get there walking easily. We loved our stay here, we'd love to come back someday again!

Pros:

Очень аутентичный интерьер. Нам хотелось увидеть исторические места в городе, а получилось еще и окунуться в пространство антикварной мебели и предметов быта. Понравилось все в номере - просторно, большой балкон, много мест хранения, хороший утюг, белоснежное гладкое белье, новые полотенца, жалюзи на окнах и ставни деревянные складные. Атмосферно для этого города. Ресторан тоже в стиле Джоржтауна. Даже тарелки антикварные. Разные все. красивые - ручная работа. Я даже спросила- можно ли где такие купить. Очень чисто. Кормили вкусно! Кофе зерновой - для нас это важно. Вообще отель отделан, украшен и функционирует с любовью. За что огромная благодарность хозяевам и персоналу! Вспоминаю его с трепетом. За 27 дней путешествия у нас было 6 отелей. Этот самый запоминающийся!

Cons:

Мы попросили поменять матрас- был продавленный в середине. Нам поменяли номер на более комфортабельный. Там матрас был шикарный. Большое спасибо сотрудникам ресепшен!

На фото отель показан как стилизованнфй под ретро. На самом деле он просто старый. Ему давно нужен ремонт. Все максимально изношено и неаккуратно. Фу!

Huge room in an amazing location. Family was very comfortable and easy to explore local area.
Pros:

Very happy with room, location and buffet breakfast.

Cons:

I hoped the gym would be more modern and with more equipment. Buffet breakfast could get a bit repetitive if you are staying for any length of time.
Staff had limited knowledge of local attractions and were unable to offer their personal views on things families would like to see and do. Some personal recommendations would have been welcomed.
I good tourist bump of Georgetown much needed, things like night market locations.

Unhygienic and poorly maintained
Pros:

Nothing much.

Cons:

Upon checking in to our 2-storey unit, we were shocked to discover water dripping from the second-floor toilet onto the ground-floor sofa. The sofa was wet and completely unusable. We were seriously concerned about maintenance and hygiene.

When we attempted to use the sofa bed, it was in an appalling condition. The cushion was so excessively worn and soft that anyone sitting on it would sink almost to the floor. It was entirely unsuitable and unsafe for sleeping.

As a direct result of this, we were forced to request an additional bed, for which the hotel charged us RM150 for three nights. Unfortunately, this “solution” was equally unacceptable. The mattress was covered in black stains, the mattress itself was severely worn, the mattress cover had a very large visible stain, and two pillowcase covers were also stained. This severe lack of cleanliness was absolutely disgusting and far below any reasonable hospitality standard.

Because of the filthy conditions I could hardly sleep that night.

The room was filled with mosquitoes, which repeatedly bit my 5-year-old child throughout the night.

We checked out the very next morning, after only one night. The hotel refused give us a full refund for our unused nights.
