I would probably stay again since the manager is accommodating and I like the hotel ambience.
Pros:

I like the design of the hotel and it’s location.

Cons:

I had bad experience about the room shower, even though staffs were trying to fix it for me but probably too old and didn’t fix it. Water was too weak.

Classic Penang Charm
Pros:

Good location.. Easily accessible to main attractions in Georgetown. The architecture of the hotel retains the charm of old Penang

Cons:

Maintenance of the hotel needs improvement. Leakage in bathroom. Beautiful hotel, could have been better

Classic heritage stay - comfortable and convenient
Pros:

The room was a perfect example of a classic Penang Heritage stay. Front office staff was courteous and even made the room ready 1 hour before the check-in time which was highly appreciated considering the young kids we have. Location is great and centrally positioned in Georgetown. Very spacious property and suitable for small/large families.

Cons:

Since it seemed like a old building, there were rodents and lizards in the backyard and ground floor which although was not a major issue if resolved could enhance the experience several folds. Breakfast did not had lots of options especially for vegetarians and was a bit of disappointment.

In all, we really enjoyed our stay at Penaga. Prices were very reasonable. We would go back .
Pros:

We love the heritage old style that the hotel has kept up . The location is excellent to access the whole of George Town and are in walking distance of many attractions . We stayed in the duplex two bedroom apartment with amazing high ceilings and a little outdoor area where the jacuzzi is.

Cons:

Cleaning staff can do better around corners and surface tops in the apartment. Some lightbulbs were blown . Breakfast choices are not great but then you are in Georgetown so it's better to head out.

Pros:

Het is een prachtig hotel. De kamer was werkelijk fantastisch. Hotel kan ik zeker aanraden. Georgetown centrum is aan te lopen.

Cons:

Er werd geadverteerd met zwembad, dat is nu een aquarium. Parkeren is lastig. Ik had in de reviews gelezen dat het ontbijt karig is. Nou dat vond ik niet. Er was van alles. Brood, fruit, Aziatisch eten, koffie, thee, sinaasappelsap.

Fijn verblijf in een sfeervolle ruimtelijke plek.
Pros:

Wat het meeste beviel was de centrale ligging van de accommodatie, de grote van de ruimte en authentieke inrichting.

Cons:

Eigenlijk beviel alles wel, maar misschien om een puntje van aandacht bij de vloerparket in de hal vlakbij de gedeelde badkamer. Die staan schots en scheef waarschijnlijk door waterschade. Die mogen wel vervangen worden voor een nettere aanzicht.

Enjoyed the stay and proximity to everything.
Pros:

Lovely heritage building in great location. Walking distance yo most attractions and food places.
Staff friendly and good variety for breakfast. Molly very kind and helpful in the breakfast area.

Cons:

Bed very firm. Probably a little run down but it wasn’t a problem for us.
