The location of the property is great, very central, but it’s also remarkably quiet considering this. The air con was greatly appreciated during the very hot weather we experienced and the coolness of the small courtyard where you could have a quiet drink out of the sun and away from the crowds outside. The staff were all fantastic and really helpful, as well as being friendly and happy to chat. Our first breakfast at the hotel was brilliant with extensive breakfast options for any diet/need, however we were advised about a week prior to us arriving, that the breakfast room and bar were undergoing renovations for our final 3 mornings, so just that one lovely breakfast with the hotel. Note, the work being done did not disturb us with noise.
The alternative breakfast once renovations started was at a nearby brasserie but it was pretty awful with really limited options - the half-frozen tough bread roll was the last straw. On our last morning we went to a cafe nearby instead, even though we’d booked the Ibis with breakfast included. I let the people at the front desk know, but I don’t know if there’s anything they can do about it really.

Great central location. Really lovely clean hotel. Beautiful decor. Comfortable bed. Fab shower. Absolutely silent at night even though you're in the middle of such a vibrant city! Delicious breakfast.
My only little gripe would be that I would have liked a coffee machine in my room and/or proper coffee available in reception rather than sachets of instant coffee.
