I booked and paid for a one night stay at the Hampton Inn and Suites in Adairsville, Georgia (101 Travelers Path Adairsville, GA) via Expedia for the date of April 14, 2026. Upon my return home, I realized this hotel also charged my credit card for the same stay resulting in a duplicate charge. Initially, I contacted the Hotel Manager, Savannah, who confirmed the duplicate charge and advised me that it would be credited. My credit card was not credited. After a number of follow up messages left for Savannah with no return call, I then followed up with Hilton Customer Service hoping to resolve this issue. I was eventually given a case number and on June 7 was advised that I would receive a refund check within 30 days. The 30 days have passed and I still have not received a check. I replied back to the email regarding my refund check but have received no response. Additionally, I again tried calling the Hotel Manager. Savannah. I left a message with the front desk. Same result. No return call. This company acknowledged the duplicate charge and advised me that a refund check would be sent to me.
I believe that all businesses make mistakes. The question is what is done after a mistake is made. Good companies want to take care of their customers. This is not a good company. Hilton has demonstrated that they are very disorganized and have little concern for taking care of customers. As a result, I will no longer choose any Hilton properties my travel needs.
BED BUGS!!!!!! And hotel manager refuses to acknowledge their existence. Stay away from this property stay away from Hilton.!!!!!!
Close to highway. Newer property. Clean.
Cheap pillows. Bathroom area was something to be desired. Not cheap.
The heated pool was nice and the breakfast was good
We didn’t like that the WiFi was going in and out and our tv shows would freeze up for hours
Super staff. I’m impressed with how welcomed they made me feel. Pet friendly which is a huge plus for me. Nice CLEAN rooms you can be comfortable in.
Just what are they doing to the pool? Don’t advertise it if it’s not for use. That felt like a trick.
Absolutely loved being here for the night to rest after a long drive home from Florida to Michigan. Savanna was so sweet and accommodating. She helped us book so quickly over the phone. We were literally 20 minutes down the road and she got us our room booked in like 3 minutes. The room smelled clean and fresh. We got in early morning and left early evening/ late afternoon. So we skipped breakfast but the hotel room was clean and the pillows were so comfy and fluffy. If I'm ever in the area again, I know where I'm staying. Here at The Hampton!!!
Hampton Inn has failed to refund us for being double billed for our room on the night of March 30. We had already made a reservation through a third-party website, but decided when we got there to see if we could use our H-Honors membership to get a discount on the price. The manager on duty told us there would be no problem and that the third-party booking site had not charged our card yet, so we would not be charged. We went ahead and put our new reservation on our credit card. When we got our monthly credit card bill, we found both the third-party booking site and Hampton Inn had charged us. On April 21, we spoke to a manager at the hotel who said that it would be no problem to refund us the charge from the third-party site and or if necessary, Hampton Inn would refund us what they charged us. We made several follow-up calls to the hotel to find out what the status of the refund was. We got assurances that a manager would get back to us, but that never happened. I called the corporate offices for Hampton Inn on May 1 and spoke to a Guest Assistance Team member who eventually agreed to escalate our problem to hotel management. We received two emails that said that hotel management had been told about the problem. I emailed back after the second email to ask what the status was. We have heard nothing from either corporate or the hotel management. I will be filing a grievance through our credit card company to see if they can get us our money back. We have always enjoyed our stays at Hampton Inns, but this experience will make us choose other hotel chains in the future unless our problem is resolved soon.
I am writing this review to warn future guests about a severe lack of integrity and professional ethics from the management team at this property. During my stay, I accidentally left a valuable necklace in my room. After returning home, I contacted the hotel and spoke with a manager named Savannah. She confirmed that my necklace had been found and even went so far as to text me a photograph of the item as proof of possession. She promised that the hotel would ship it back to me immediately. That was nearly three weeks ago. Since that initial confirmation, I have been repeatedly dragged along with empty promises, ignored messages, and zero tracking information. At this point, the hotel is knowingly withholding my personal property. I sent a prepaid UPS label. I have escalated this issue to Hilton Corporate Guest Assistance, initiated contact with the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office regarding Theft of Mislaid Property (O.C.G.A. § 16-8-6), and provided them with the text and photo evidence. It is deeply disturbing that a guest has to involve law enforcement just to get found property returned by hotel leadership. Do not trust this staff with your belongings. If the General Manager, Savannah, wishes to resolve this and receive the prepaid shipping label I have provide, she needs to contact me immediately with a tracking number.
