One of the most incredible views from the room, with two spectacular beaches within walking distance. The new restaurant and bar was 10/10 and relaxing by the pool is exactly what you need! A must stay.

⭐ One star is honestly already too much.

Our experience with this hotel has been extremely disappointing, especially because of the way we were treated after making our reservation through the hotel’s official website.

Before our stay, we made a reservation directly through the hotel’s official website. We were subsequently contacted by someone pretending to be the hotel. This person had very specific information about our reservation, including our exact check-in date, the number of nights, and other information that we had only entered through the hotel’s website. Because of this, we genuinely believed the message was legitimate and came from the hotel.

We were then directed to a website through a link and made a payment for what we believed was our hotel stay.

It turned out to be a scam.

We immediately contacted the hotel and explained what had happened. We informed them that their website or reservation system appeared to have been compromised, because the scammers had access to very specific information about our booking.

Despite this, the hotel simply told us that this was our problem and our fault. There was absolutely no willingness to help us find a solution or offer any form of compensation. The message was essentially: you paid the wrong party, so now you have to pay us the full amount again.

After spending months trying to recover the money we had lost, we ultimately had no choice but to pay the hotel the full amount again.

We therefore paid twice for the same stay, without receiving any discount, compensation, or other form of assistance from the hotel.

And unfortunately, the disappointment did not end there.

When we arrived at the hotel, we brought up the situation again and asked whether they could at least think along with us and offer some form of compensation or a reasonable solution. Once again, there was absolutely no willingness to help.

On top of that, we were confronted with several additional costs that were not clearly communicated to us beforehand. This includes a €65 cleaning fee that we have to pay at the end of our stay. We also have to pay to use regular shower towels. Not even beach or pool towels — simply towels to take a shower.

For a stay that costs us more than €200 per night, we find this extremely disappointing.

The room itself also does not meet the standard we would expect for this price and given the overall appearance and image of the hotel. There is air conditioning only in the living room and no air conditioning in the bedroom, meaning the bedroom does not cool down properly. On top of that, the curtains are extremely poor, allowing a huge amount of sunlight into the room in the morning, which means we are basically woken up by the sunlight every day.

However, what disappoints us the most is the customer service and attitude towards guests.

We understand that a hotel cannot necessarily be held responsible for every type of fraud. What we do expect, however, is that a hotel takes a situation like this seriously and makes an effort to help guests who have potentially lost a significant amount of money because someone had access to highly specific booking information.

Instead, we were repeatedly made to feel that it was simply “our problem.” Even after arriving at the hotel and explaining the entire situation again, there was no attempt to find a solution or offer us any kind of goodwill gesture.

A hotel can have a beautiful appearance and a luxurious image, but ultimately, the way you treat your guests says much more about the quality of the hotel. And in that regard, we are extremely disappointed.

Our advice: do not book this hotel. Especially not for these prices.

We expected a hotel of this size and with this kind of image to provide decent customer service and at least make an effort to help when something this serious happens involving a guest’s reservation.

Unfortunately, we experienced none of that.

For us, this is absolutely not a hotel we can recommend.
