The air conditioner unit was the old box style and was very noisy

The room was very dated and in need of repair. The breakfast wasn’t really a breakfast, some bread, eggos and a toaster.

The breakfast was very poor and the parking lot and walkways by the rooms were littered with cigarette bits

We specifically booked a non-smoking room, yet were assigned Room #123, which reeked of cigarette smoke the moment we opened the door. There was no mistaking, it was obvious the room had been smoked in. We were exhausted after a long day and only staying for one night, so we chose not to waste time requesting another room. That said, we shouldn’t have had to make that choice. By the time we checked out, all of our clothes smelled like cigarette smoke.
The bed was equally disappointing. It squeaked loudly with even the slightest movement, making it nearly impossible to sleep without waking each other up. A basic expectation of any hotel is a comfortable, quiet bed, and this one failed miserably.
The condition of the property was also unacceptable. The hallways were dirty, stained, and littered with cigarette butts everywhere. It gave the impression that smoking is tolerated throughout the property, despite offering non-smoking rooms.
To make matters worse, the air conditioner is manually controlled. If the room gets too warm or too cold during the night, you’ll have to get out of bed to adjust it yourself.
Overall, this was a very disappointing stay. A non-smoking room should actually be smoke-free, and the poor cleanliness, uncomfortable bed, and outdated amenities made the experience far below what we expected. I would not stay here again unless these issues are addressed

I would have liked at least a partial refund for the second night that I did not use.

Lack of parking and need for some repairs

Zero sound proofing. We could hear the TV next door and people talking outside all night long. Parking lot was terrible and at times was blocked by random vehicles so could not get in or out. The continental breakfast was comical. Toast, stale cereal, and some yogurt. Toilet would barely flush. Shower would not drain. Absolutely NOT worth the $175 per night I paid, in fact, it’s irritating that they get away with charging that much.

That i hadn't stayed here before when in Merritt.

Everything seemed run down. Strange layout. Small room. No cot available. Shabby overall.

No parking

Parking was tough there’s a lot of blue collar workers staying long term there rigs hog the parking lot

The breakfast. What they put out, they should say a poor continental breakfast. Just bread and coffee.

Breakfast was very basic.
