Four Points by Sheraton Medan

This hotel represents exceptional value for money, with quality rooms and outstanding services. I stayed 3 nights in April 2026, and i have wonderful view on the 8 floor. This trip was combination of business and pleasure. The breakfast had a range of options, catering for western and Indonesian tastes. However, it would be nice if milk was refrigerated, as with other Marriott group properties in Bali. There is a supermarket across the street and very large hypermarket about 5 minute walk from the hotel. An excellent bakery is 2 minute walk from the hotel. This hotel is not near major shopping malls, but they can be easily reaching via a grab taxi for about $2 in 10 mins. The bed was super comfy and the armchair was great. However, the desk height was not really appropriate and not sufficient for business work. However, I completed most work in the armchair with pillows for the laptop.. Excellent range of TV channels including BBC and CNN. An ice bucket costs 50,000 IDR. ($US 3) I used the pool which was great on 2nd floor with city views. Unfortunately, the hotel is situated on extremely busy road and be careful when walking on the sidewalks (footpaths), it can be easy to fall. Still, I would highly recommended this hotel for the price paid and outstanding service and room quality for 4 star establishment.

Less than an hour’s drive from the airport. This hotel is incredible value for money. The room was above my expectation for the price I paid. It was very comfortable and exactly what I needed after a long journey from the UK. All staff were incredibly kind and courteous. I didn’t get the name of the man who checked me in on reception, but such a lovely welcoming person to meet after a long travel day. Erwin was very helpful to me at the restaurant and so was Vani when checking out. Great selection at breakfast. Also really handy to have an ATM just downstairs and a supermarket directly opposite.

The room and bathroom are spacious and clean. Breakfast buffet is tasty and they change the menu everyday. I love their lupis.

The staff are polite and welcoming. The room was a good size, the bed spacious with a great bathroom and great shower. Breakfast was a feast. There was something for everyone. The staff were accommodation and a special shout out to Nicholas for patiently guiding us through the local dishes and offering dishes to try.

Clean and friendly staff. Especially your restaurant manager is very good and polite.

The staff were amazing. Could not be more helpful. We were encouraged to try Indonesian food which we otherwise might not have done and found it excellent. Vani on reception was extremely helpful when I lost my debit card leading to it's recovery.
