This was a very nice place to stay. We loved the room, the pool, and the breakfast. It was in great condition, and the staff was very friendly. It was near many outlet stores and restaurants.
Nothing
We paid twice for 1 night and didn't even get a room. We called the front desk on a room reservation to change the room reservation to the next night and were assured by Nicole at the front desk that the reservation had been changed to the next night. We got to the hotel about 8:45 and were told that there were no reservations and there was no availability, We then went online which said that there were 3 rooms available so we booked and paid for the room for the second time, went back to register and was told again that they were full. So we paid twice for the room that night and never got a room. We traveled for another 2 hours before we got a room at 11:45 that night. We were on the road for 11 + hours that day! For the last 10 years or so we have stayed at that hotel a minimum of 4 nights on our way down and back to Florida.
Staff
Nothing
Perfect location, conveniently located off of 95 with plenty of food choices nearby. Appreciated the clean atmosphere in the lobby and hallways. Some parts of the room seem due for an update, for example the beds and bathroom. But it was still comfortable and good enough for our stay. Staff was pleasant and informative.
Terrible experience. Was there 4 nights. They never cleaned my room or took out my trash. Complained when I asked for new towels. As if reusing the ones I had four days was not enough. Completely ridiculous that we can not get even descent service at a Hotel owned by Marriott!!!
Location. The nice lady that fixes breakfast was very friendly
Ac was not working properly it would not go lower than 75. The mattress was so worn out i could feel the boards
Honestly, nothing.
They did not accommodate our needs. Upon arrival they were completely inflexible and the front desk attendant was polite but poorly trained on the system check in. He said to call reservations and stated he could not change anything. The room he was providing had no functioning phone, it had no dial tone, the door frame was falling off the door, and he stated we needed to use our cell phones after we just experienced a nation wide shutdown 36 hours prior. We were 3 women traveling alone and checking in late, after being up for 18 hours. The room was not what was advertise on your website and did not come with a sofa bed! When bookings actually listed that room we purchased for $144 it was listed with a sofa bed but somehow was down graded. When we asked him to upgrade, he said, he didn’t think that room category existed. When we contacted reservations, we were told the only thing the hotel could do was book another room and pay another fee.
Very good. Food was hot
Toaster not toasting
Stay far away from this Fairfield hotel! They charged us $100 cleaning fee for having towels on the bathroom floor. They are scammers and as a platinum elite member that has stayed in multiple Fairfields around the country I would rate this one as the WORSE one to ever stay in.
Stay away from Fairfield on Selma NC on i95 if you don't want to be charged $100 for having towels on the floor.
The location
The rooms were not even close to what the pictures look like. The pool was not working. It smelled old and the entire room was outdated and needed a good cleaning. The straw that broke the camel’s back was the bed bug. I will stay at a Marriott property again.
I dudnt like I was charged twice and Im having a freaking hard time get a darn money back .So I will ot use a third party to book anything for me no time soon.
We loved the complimentary breakfast! The food selection was fantastic! The staff kept the area clean and replenished items on the buffet in a timely manner so the food was fresh! It was one of the better breakfasts we’ve ever had after an overnight stay! So, thank you so much!
The room was a little small but everything was clean and neat.
