Everything was great.

Good location
Room was especially expensive due to The Open taking place. Expected the room to have the advertised air conditioning working - it didn’t and to add insult to injury the window didn’t even open. The room was like a sauna. Didn’t sleep a wink. I did get a different room for the second night but I should have been offered a refund/rebate of some description for the first dreadful night.

Picked this place because it advertised aircon, upon arrival noticed the air con wasn’t effective and after speaking to staff we were given a fan which just circulated the hot air
Staff were good, location fine.
Bathroom cramped in a pod. Toilet too close to sink meaning almost side saddle on toilet seat.lol. Breakfast was lacking in choice, even for a continental.
Amazing location. Very easy to get around different places in the city from here. Comfortable. Clean. A very peaceful stay
The aircon was already on before i came to the room so it was colder than i had expected
It had subsidised parking close by. Fairly handy to most places of interest. Air conditioning was important and we were glad of it. Breakfast was a reasonably priced, decent feed. Could leave our bags in store after we checked out on the last day, and they called us a taxi to the port. All very helpful.
It was quite tight for space, and although we realised that it is part of how it fits into the Liverpool geography, it was a bit annoying sometimes.
