Great location, right next to the north pier. The staff were very friendly
The room didn’t have working air conditioning, with notices in the room advising of this, very unfortunate during hot weather, the internal windows were missing which meant only had the listed sash windows and nothing to reduce the noise from outside. Around the top of the bed was covered in dust, as were the windows, on top of the hanging rail and there was a patch of mould on the shower door.
Location, staff, comfort.
Cleanliness.
Stayed before handy location and couldn't fault staff
Air con not working so had to go buy fans
I liked the location, perfctly situated right by North Pier, and literally less than a minute walk from the beach which is really good when it comes to swimming at the beach, then going back to your room, then going back out again. I also liked how kind the staff are, they are the ones who are actually putting the kindness, comfort, and soul to the place.
Reception is weirdly on the 1st floor, Has 2 lifts but only 1 works, The whole Hotel has broken AC Unit meaning the whole hotel has NO Airconditioning available. It was ridiculous specially in a summer heatwave. Breakfast was okay, wish they had scrambled eggs or fried eggs instead of just a bunch of boiled eggs.
Great location. We was visiting the viva theatre which is a 2 minute walk away.
The bed spread and towels provided were clean. But the room itself was dusty. The carpet were worn and shabby. The shower and WC was ok. The mattress was hard so didn't have the greatest sleep.
If I'm being honest I probably wouldn't stay there again as it stands.. I don't think it would take to much to make the place a better stay. If it made little improvements I would consider going back.
very close to Tower, friendly staff, lifts to rooms . comfy big double bed.short walk to multistorey car park.
Could do with a refurbishment, a bit run down. had to book breakfast the day before.
Location was great , right on front north pier. Receptionist was friendly.
Window was on roof level where we had a view of a dildo...
The windows did not open and my room was like a crack house room one shit hotel
Great location with easy access
All good
Position of building bed comfy
Houe keeping could be better ie hoovering corriders
Staff on the reception very polite and helpful when I had problems with the key cards & milk for the brews in the room. Perfectly placed for where I was going with very little walking.
Looked very scruffy from the outside, reception ok but room definitely not. Discolouration inside the toilet below the waterline, mould on the bottle of shower gel in the shower that would not fit in the holder. Unable to open the window in the middle of a heatwave plus the tiny bit it was open was full of black mould. Secondary glazing was hard to open before you got to that but I left it closed after seeing the mould. If I was the cleaner there I would be ashamed to admit it.
The location was close to our show
.False advertisement the hotel was nothing like it was advertised..the rooms where dirty bathroom shower was full of mould..air conditioning system in hotel was broken..reception provided fans but where not in good working order. couldn't even open windows as they where screwed shut...breakfast was sparce pastries where not fresh butter portion tasted like they had gone off...sliced ham had a funny taste to it..we didn't sleep as on our floor there was a lot of noise and arguing..no staff where around dealing with the situation that went on into the early hours. ...the whole stay was totally spoiled with the hotel facilities ie..filthy environment no suitable air conditioning in temperature of 30..then paid for a bfast that was inedible .we had 5 rooms in the hotel all where in the same filthy condition..
The hotel reception staff were very nice and helpful
When we got to the hotel the lobby ceiling collapsed the young man brushed the stairs to clean the mess up the room was filthy the shower room needed a good clean I went out to fetch some bleach and cleaned the bathroom the bed felt damp and the room made our clothes felt damp when they were hung up the lobby still was not mopped up when we left, I think you need to get some new cleaners in our a good supervisor to make sure the rooms are cleaned and over the beds no-one had cleaned the shelf
The rooms were like a sweat box. And although the air con units in the rooms 'don't work' it would be ideal if the windows weren't sealed shut so you could at least have air flow in your room that smelt of fags to begin with, inside the room and in the corridor. The member of staff on reception did help and let us swap to another room on the opposite side of the building which felt slightly cooler, however, it was clear it hadn't been cleaned apart from the bed had been made. There was a random sock left next to the curtains, stains on the window sill, hair clips and rubbish wrappers from the tea confectionery stand that had been left on the floor. I feel for what we paid for the night was not reflected in our stay.
