Staff very helpful
Dirty and smells with damp
Windows in rooms screwed shut (it was 30 degrees outside)
Location is good, paid extra for the sea view.
*Walls, windows and tiles not in good condition, needed fixing and repainting.
*doesn't match the photos on here at all it looks way better in the photos than it does in person.
* too pricey for what you get, could've paid less for a seaview at a cleaner place
* all the carpets in the hallways are dirty and old so makes it look unclean amd unkept
*didn't get a comfortable nights sleep.
The fact it was on the sea front with some amazing views, the staff was really friendly and the room was quite big.
There was no air con, the radiator heater thing was falling off the wall and no instructions on how to use it also there was a few cob webs around the light fittings.
Location
Entry point didnt reflect the very clean rooms.
Central location to all attractions
Decor needs improving, carpet needs replacing very tatty and worn. Shower door very mouldy.
All staff were lovely check in was quick and room was ready upon arrival at 2. Great position for North Pier and beach
Towels provided in room were all clean
Bedding was clean
Room was dated and could do with a lick of paint, carpet worn in places. Some rubbish left under bed.
Not great storage space but only there 2 nights so could live out of suitcase Bathroom door had a small hole in. Shower not the best. Socket on only one side of bed We were in a back room above Yates/wethersoons extremely noisy on the Saturday night and the room smelled of cigarette smoke from people outside and you couldn’t close window due to it being warm and no air conditioning. Bed quite hard
Kettle had water left in which is not good as you don’t know how long it had been standing
Fire alarm went off in middle of night and despite fire engine turning up no evacuation took place or reason why alarm was activated. When leaving next morning it was shocking to see that the fire exits at back of hotel were all blocked by bins so what would have happened if we needed to evacuate I don’t know. Stayed in Forshaws a couple of times but the hotel has slightly gone down hill to be honest and could do with a spruce up.
Liked were it was located staff was very friendly and very clean
Nougthing l didnt like
Great location right next to north pier sea view room
Hallway could do with lick of paint and a new carpet
