Loved the stay—made even better with my uni friends.
Pros:

The location is very strategic, with many eateries within walking distance. The hotel also provides dedicated parking, which is a great convenience. Although the lighting is slightly dim, it creates a warm and cosy atmosphere. The bathroom is well-designed with four compartments—two toilets and two shower rooms—making it very convenient for a group of friends.

Cons:

The check-out process was a bit tedious. The place isn’t very friendly for elderly guests or kids due to the sharp, narrow staircase. Also, the TV is downstairs, not near the bed, which wasn’t very convenient.

Convenient location.
Pros:

The hotel is very charming and picturesque, located right in the historic center of Penang, a UNESCO-protected area. The overall decoration is beautiful and full of character.

However, at least in my case, the single room felt quite outdated and a bit depressing, which was a contrast to the rest of the property.

Breakfast was tasty, though it’s not a buffet. You can choose from a menu with good and flavorful options. The juice, however, was not great at all, while the coffee was excellent.

Pros:

Good location for getting around George Town with nice large airy rooms. The staff were very helpful, even when one of us managed to lock themselves in the bathroom!

Good basic hotel friendly staff .
Pros:

Good quiet location . Breakfast choice was very good . Very good showers .

Cons:

Rooms a little tired but charmingly old fashioned. Not much sound insulation . The guest next door sounded as if they using our bathroom.

Pros:

The location was great, walking distance to most things, quiet except for the garbage truck that came every evening, friendly staff.

Pros:

Lovely hotel near all the attractions. Staff were helpful when ever we needed anything. Room was small but comfortable.

Cons:

Swimming pool wasn’t deep enough for swimming but nice for cooling off in after a day of sightseeing.
