Pros:

The hotel is beautifully renovated with very good ambience. Our booking was a bit misunderstood by booking.com but the hotel fixed the problem and gave us an upgraded room for free. The breakfast was excellent. We could choose from a great variety of dishes offered in the menu.

Cons:

Unfortunately the swimming pool was under cleaning thus we couldn't use.

Cons:

One of the employee on friday and saturday was really not nice. She gave the impression of being annoyed whenever we asked her for anything, whereas all the other staff members were very pleasant and welcoming. It's a real shame, as it doesn't create a good impression of the hotel.

The stay is pleasant, with a private car park, in good location, and the staffs are friendly.
Pros:

Good location, easily accessible to most attractions in Georgetown area. Our room for 4 is spacious.

Cons:

First night air conditioner temperature was not consistent. However the position was fine in the second night.

Absolutely fabulous!
Pros:

The hotel is absolutely charming, beautifully preserving the character and nostalgia of a heritage building while thoughtfully incorporating all the modern comforts you could ask for. Our single rooms were incredibly cute and cosy, full of old-world charm, yet the bathrooms were stylish, spacious, and modern—a lovely contrast that made our stay even more enjoyable.

The location is fantastic, making it so easy to explore the UNESCO heritage area.

One thing that really stood out was the excellent service. A special thank you to Ms. Nina, who was so warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay.

The breakfast, which was included in our room package, was another pleasant surprise. It was delicious, freshly prepared, and a wonderful way to start each morning before heading out to explore Penang.

We also really appreciated that the hotel has its own private parking for guests.

We would happily recommend The Museum Hotel to anyone looking for an authentic Penang heritage experience with modern comfort. Thank you to the entire team, especially Ms. Nina, for making our weekend so special. We look forward to staying with you again!

The receptionist Nina is superb and attentive to guests with her smile. She is a professional person!

The beautiful historical interior looks gorgeous and authentic, creating a relaxed atmosphere that feels like staying in a quiet resort hotel. Highly recommend! And free breakfast was also excellent!!!

What a pleasure to have been a guest at the Museum Hotel!
Pros:

The front office staff were exceptional, always helping us in every way possible to find our direction, sort out our SIM card issues and get the Grab app installed and operational. Thank you Sri and Nina and all of the other staff who always smiled and made us feel welcomed! In addition, we very much loved the delicious breakfasts that were included in our room price. The staff at the breakfast area, and including the entire staff that cleaned the Museum Hotel always had smiles and greetings that made you feel welcomed as a guest.

Cons:

The lobby and all public areas were exceptionally attractive and well maintained. However, despite our room being clean and the bathroom facilities working perfectly, it was a small space for a double bed which made things a bit tight. That is a small criticism for such an enjoyable stay for us.

Son style colonial
Petit déjeuner à la carte dommage qu'il soit servi dans un restaurant attenant à l'hôtel alors que ce dernier a une salle incroyable je n'ai pas trop compris le concept.
Personnel assez sympa dans l'ensemble
Bon rapport qualité prix

Cons:

Fenêtre avec aucune vue. Mieux vaux laisser les volets fermés c est ce qui vous attends pour une chambre premier prix. Chambre mal insonorisée on entend la chasse d'eau et la douche dans la chambre voisine. Pas de prise de courant à la tête du lit juste une au pied du lit près du frigo pas très pratique l'histoire.
