Our room was decent sized and had a cute, teeny terrace with a gorgeous view of the lake. The two twin beds pushed together were actually very comfortable. There was decent sized storage in addition to a place to put our large luggage, a desk to sit at, an extra bed (which we hadn’t requested), and nice sized nightstands with storage and power outlets (but not USB). The bathroom actually had a decent-sized tub with a shower (but see below). Breakfast was included with our room, and the buffet in the main dining room was pretty standard, but appreciated. They actually have a fairly highly regarded restaurant, but see below.
The bathtub has a folding plexiglass partition for showering purposes, but it covered barely half the tub length and wasn’t adequately sealed on its bottom, so every shower, no matter how careful we were, flooded the bathroom. The front desk staff was very nice and helpful for hotel-related stuff, but they were unhelpful when it came to asking anything about dining outside the hotel. The restaurant waiters, where we had dinner on our second night because of inclement weather, were efficient but very glum and looked like they’d rather be anywhere else. The food was very good but dinner for two ended up to be 125 euros with one glass of wine per person.
Great location and free parking. Fine view from front of property over lake and able to have breakfast outside. The pool has been exceptionally renovated.

Clean and comfortable rooms and public areas. Hotel interior and rooms are dated but the hotel has a "old world" charm of its own that we appreciated. We loved our little balcony and view of the lake and island from our room. Lovely well kept grounds and the swimming pool and sunbathing area looked spotless - perfect for the summer months. Staff were friendly and obliging. We ate "a la carte" at the hotel restaurant on our first night and enjoyed our meal. Breakfast was good. Great location a short walk into the historical centre of Orta. Excellent value for money for an October stay with beautiful sunny weather. Would we stay here again? Absolutely :)
Everything was of a very high standard, location, food, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the views from the room and restaurant were fantastic. We had a great stay.
