Good standard

Cons:

Four separate requests, via Booking . Com, direct email and phone for a receipt for my business accounts fell on deaf ears despite promised responses. Spent over £1,200 with them for a 3-person working stay.
Rooms are decent enough although were not cleaned all week, pub and food excellent but in this high tech world this was the first time in 40 years of working away to not be furnished with a receipt at some stage.
Such a simple request not fulfilled. Very poor.

Pros:

Room excellent. Plenty of parking. Quiet location but only 3 mins drive to the centre of Wokingham.

Cons:

Restaurant menu rather limited unless you like Thai food. Breakfast also limited but not starting until 9am was too late for us.

Pros:

I felt very welcomed and at home . The staff were all uniquely embracing in their own way. A lovely local pub with local people. Didn't want to leave .

A pleasant apparently family run pub offering a very warm welcome: conveniently situated.
Pros:

Breakfast was the only bone of contention: your website recommended the inclusive breakfast: in fact breakfast was NOT available at all - and there was a notice clearly stating this at the property: apparently they will begin to serve breakfast next month. The lack of breakfast was not a problem for me, as I eat breakfast only occasionally. The fault, I think lies with your description.

Nice room, disappointing experience at breakfast. One hot drink charged extra for , 1 slice of toast
Pros:

The cooked breakfast was good, however we charged extra for a coffee . No cereals ,or juice and only 1 slice of toast served with breakfast , no jams or marmalade.

Cons:

The 10% table service charge put on the food, it was a pub bar!! The bar staff placed food on table and cleared it away when finished .

Cons:

Tired in need of refurbishment. Dark room due to light not working, obviously not just a bulb replacement but need of looking at by an electrician. Bath needed replacing, mastic around plug hole.
