Clean but be aware of breakfast rip off
Pros:

Very clean and could walk into town.

Cons:

We paid for a breakfast in the bar and they charged us £5 for a cup of tea and again £5 for a cup of black coffee, they only told us when we paid the tea and coffee was bottomless 😡. Also no water in the room and room very hot.

Wokingham pub hotel
Pros:

Nice room, had a fan which was needed in the hot weather.

Pros:

Very easy check in and out plus large car park next to the hotel .
Lovely staff , very friendly and accommodating.
Clean and comfortable room

Cons:

My family all stayed here as we were attending a Wedding at Cantely House, We booked 4 rooms this was on a Saturday.
We got back from the Wedding at 9.30 pm expecting we could have a drink together before going to bed but the pub was closed.
We chatted about getting breakfast the next morning and looked at the menu.
No one informed us that they weren't going to be doing breakfast the next day so had a few disappointed family members as it would have been nice to have had breakfast together.

Tired, dirty, but quiet
Pros:

Relatively quiet. Bed was ok.

Cons:

Very dirty. Dead bugs on the bedside table. Dust everywhere, I didn't dare to turn the fan on as it was covered in dust. Room looked very tired, the carpet and chair looked like they hadn't been changed or cleaned in 20 years.
Small spots of mould in the bathroom.
The sink tap didn't close properly so it kept dripping the whole night.

Pros:

The size of the room was fine and it was nice that the bathroom had a bath. The location is nice and quiet.

Cons:

The room was tired and not very clean. The cold tap needed a new washer and ran constantly. The mattress and pillows are very poor quality. The hotel emailed me to confirm they could honour my request for a 2pm check-in, but then forgot. Everything was locked up when I arrived and I wasn't given access to the room until 3pm. Having travelled a long way in a heat wave, this was quite upsetting. These factors left me feeling the room is over priced for what it offers and that there are much better options in Wokingham within a similar price range.

Pros:

The bed was comfortable. The room was clean and what little contact with the staff was polite and friendly.

Cons:

My stay was during a very hot period, however, the room was excessively hot. Hotter than the external temperature resulting in a very poor night's sleep.
The room desperately needed airing.
The cold water tap in the bathroom sink did not function so I had to clean my teeth in the bath.
The fridge in the room had not been emptied, containing food from a previous guest.
I would have made these comments directly to the owners but no one was around at 10am on Sunday morning when I left.

We paid a fair price but you would expect certain things to be working or done within the room
Pros:

Not much as Our tv had hardly any channels and the tap in the bathroom was constantly running

Cons:

The general appearance of the rooms and certain things broken see the question above
The staff were rude and our room wasn't cleaned after our first night
