Pros:

I felt very welcomed and at home . The staff were all uniquely embracing in their own way. A lovely local pub with local people. Didn't want to leave .

A pleasant apparently family run pub offering a very warm welcome: conveniently situated.
Pros:

Breakfast was the only bone of contention: your website recommended the inclusive breakfast: in fact breakfast was NOT available at all - and there was a notice clearly stating this at the property: apparently they will begin to serve breakfast next month. The lack of breakfast was not a problem for me, as I eat breakfast only occasionally. The fault, I think lies with your description.

Nice room, disappointing experience at breakfast. One hot drink charged extra for , 1 slice of toast
Pros:

The cooked breakfast was good, however we charged extra for a coffee . No cereals ,or juice and only 1 slice of toast served with breakfast , no jams or marmalade.

Cons:

The 10% table service charge put on the food, it was a pub bar!! The bar staff placed food on table and cleared it away when finished .

Location

Cons:

Tired in need of refurbishment. Dark room due to light not working, obviously not just a bulb replacement but need of looking at by an electrician. Bath needed replacing, mastic around plug hole.

Comfortable enough room but disappointed with less cosy Bar area.
Pros:

Staff were friendly and helpful and my room heater was very efficient during cold weather.

Cons:

The cold water tap in bathroom would not turn off properly so water was running constantly. I reported this following check in but it was not resolved during my overnight weekend stay.
Tv remote temperamental- difficulty turning on/off and selecting programmes.

Comfortable and very convenient for getting to our son's place.
Pros:

The location and the facilities were perfect for me. I didn't have meals.

Cons:

The wet room was perfect for my husband but some parts of the floor were retaining water.

Poor customer service. 2 major incidents during my stay and the staff were non existent. This has gone downhill considerably since the change in ownership. Very disappointed.
