Hotel Staff - need training
Pros:

Hotel appears to have 2 names 4 Etoiles which does not appear on trip advisor but we booked under as well as the name above .
Hallways & stairs all out dated & in need of a good clean & revamp .
Room stunningly large & thankfully good air conditioning but decor completely naff .
Checking in - 2 members of staff, a little confusing as initially told room was ready by a young man but then told not ready by another member of staff.
Early evening, walked passed reception , 2 girls who looked like teenagers ,who did not acknowledge us & saw us walk to the bar - made no comment.
Bar - pre dinner drinks no one available to serve . Went to reception & asked about service at the bar - 1 girl looked at us blankly, we asked can we order drinks - “ what do you want “ we asked for drinks menu . Girl followed us to bar , we gave orders she then said she had no idea about the bar . Walked off saying she’d get help. Never came back , found her back at reception typing on the computer- did not look up when I arrived . Told me she was busy . Eventually after another guest got fed up someone arrived & served us .
Went to dinner - only 2 staff & food walked from 1 end of hotel to the other as kitchen no where near dining room.
Food not good but staff worked hard & were friendly.
Went for a walk after dinner & entered by “other “ hotel entrance . Same 2 kids manning desk - 1 looks at us and says “are you here for dinner” even thought we’d engaged with them before absolutely no recognition- we said we were staying at hotel & got another blank look & nothing else said to us - no have a nice evening, can we get you anything , did your drinks get sorted ok , sorry for confusion- nothing !
Over all not a great experience due to young people having no training in basic manners or hospitality .
The property is beautiful, the room we had lovely over looking the gardens but design a little over the top . Fluffy feather light ball in centre of ceiling - very odd .

séjour imprévu mais trés belle découverte
Pros:

chambre au top lit confortable , piscine superbe , jardin agréable ,personnels tres agréable
J'aurai aimé un petit déjeuner plus fournis un café fait sur place plutôt qu'une machine, plus de choix salé .

Tres bon petit dejeuner mais vraiment tres cher

Cons:

Qu il n y ai pas eu de suivi par rapport au handicap de ma maman, les lits sonts inconfortables, vu le prix des chambres...

The Curate’s Egg
Pros:

Great hotel in parts and I would stay here again. On the plus side it is in a great location with secure parking available. The staff are incredibly friendly, rooms were comfortable and it is well priced. The downside was do not eat in the brasserie. It has no atmosphere and feels like you’re sitting in a village hall. Having said that the food was good and was fairly priced.

Personnel adorable mais totalement en sous effectif
Nous avions une chambre peu chère donc très bon rapport qualité prix mais je n aurais pas aimé le standing au prix des chambres supérieures
J avais eu le plaisir de venir il y a trois ans tout était différent

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel in bester Lage in Laval
Pros:

Ein wunderschönes, ruhiges Hotel in bester Lage, um die Stadt zu erkunden. Schöne Zimmer mit Klimaanlage und super bequemen Betten. Außenpool im Garten. Gutes Frühstück und Parkplatz im Innenhof. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. 10 von 10 Punkten!

Stylish property with a good breakfast and very comfortable bed.
Pros:

Beautiful hotel within easy walking distance of the town’s restaurants.

Cons:

The room was clean but the stairwell up to them could have done with a little tidy up. It was grubby and looked at odds with the surrounding areas.

BELLE HOTEL restauration à améliorer
Pros:

Le lieu magnifique avec son jardin, sa piscine et de belles chambres. Et aussi la climatisation très appréciable en ce moment
La proximité du centre-ville et du parc "La Pérrine" que nous avons du coup fait à pieds.

Cons:

Notre dîner à la brasserie de l'hôtel. Nous avons pris une salade césar : produits frais mais bof et le dessert était râté et sans saveur... Pas à la hauteur du lieu.
Idem pour le pt déjeuner que nous avons pris les 2 jours : nous nous attendions à un buffet plus large en choix et ce matin on a trouvé un pain aux céréales sec...
Au niveau de la chambre : une étagère près du lavabo serait un plus pour poser ses affaires de toilette.
