Well it's a place to stay. Other than that I really can't say too much. The window in the shower was open and there was no way to close it so mosquitoes got into the place. There was a problem with my booking and they booked two rooms. And refused to give up the other room and give me back my money. All in all if you really need a place to stay. I would say go here. But if you have other options I would choose those first.

You can walk more easily in that area, however it's missing action and night life. The rooms need love. The pool is great.

It's a nice little area, easier to walk than downtown Bangkok, have many restaurants, not many bars, i seen 1 nearby. Have also a brand new rooftop bar in the hotel called Concept bar, very nice, but very quiet.

The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. Our deluxe room had a very comfortable mattress which is hard to find in the cheaper Bangkok hotels. The pool was very clean and refreshing. There was a Thai market within walking distance, and if required, there was a number of Western style restaurants as well. The public transport is within walking distance. I will be back...

I like that Tara Garden is reasonably priced and close enough to the Bangkok Airport to make it convenient to stay for the few days I'm in Bangkok for transfers.
