Camino travelers reward for the long journey. Great place to experience Santiago.
Pros:

Location, Location, Location. View of the cathedral from our terrace. Ideal spot for those ending their Camino as you are 50 meters from the plaza.

Dont pay for breakfast
Pros:

The hotel is very good with perfect location, the receptionist is great

Cons:

Breakfast was terrible. The lady at the reception told me they make every kind of eggs for breakfast. When i went down the waitress showed me the 3 sad salami they had. No menu, no question. No vegies no fruit. I went to eat somewhere else.

Only one fly in the ornament
Pros:

Room was big (ok, I had a “Junior suite”, as that was the only room available and discounted). Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was clean. Interior nicely decorated. All in all, matches a expected quality of a nice boutique hotel.

Staff friendly and helpful. Fluent in English.

Great location.

Cons:

Was told bikes “not allowed” in the hotel, and offered an off-site storage option, with extra fee.

The fee wasn’t the issue. It’s the hours. Not open till 10am. So anyone needs to leave before 10 will have no option but to leave the bike on the street! Or, if you want to use the hotel as a base for day ride to nearby town, you’re restricted to return before 10pm (~ sunset time).

There’s plenty of space inside the room to stash the bike. So the “no bike inside the hotel” policy seems rather unnecessary.

Frankly, given the price of the room, they could have easily work with the “storage” place (it’s a souvenir shop) to store the bike for free. Not sure what to do about the access hour though. I would think storing the bike in the hotel between 10pm-10am (in the room if space available, or any space unused at night) should be allowed.

Needless to say, although I’m pleased with the hotel as a place to stay in Santiago, I wouldn’t stay there if I were traveling with a bike.

Beautiful hotel within the old walls of the city!
Pros:

Parking on site. Beautiful rooms and comfortable bed. High end toiletries. .

Cons:

Lots of mannequins used as decorations . Not my personal choice but does not diminish the hotel.
