Pros:

The staff was very communicative and proactive before check in, and even let is check in very early. However, they were not very helpful or reliable when we asked help for booking trips, but I guess that does not come with their services. It was very expensive for the room quality compared to other places that we have stayed at but I guess you pay for the location since it is literally at the back of Santiago Cathedral. The staff at breakfast was very lovely, especially the waitress, barista and chef who were so cheerful and friendly.

After finishing the Camino de Francis, it was wonderful to have this property available so close to the cathedral. I wish I had booked a bigger room, but that was my fault. My room was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was great. I have no complaints. I just wish I had gotten a bigger room. The café on the first floor was great. They were open early for breakfast and had lunch and dinner as well. It was also ideally situated to all of the restaurants and the shops. Just a great location overall. My room was very quiet as well.

There wasn’t anything I did not like.

Pros:

Great complimentary breakfast and location. Fantastic reception area. Knowledgeable and accommodating staff. The rooms are tight, so not a lot of wiggle room to move around.

Cons:

The rooms are tight, so not much wiggle room to move around. It's really important to use the shutters when your room faces the courtyard. Since this is Spain, it's an active area well into the night.
