It is a good place to stay.
Pros:

The staff were really friendly and the facilities (including the 20 m swimming pool) good. Breakfast with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The vegetarian option were tasty and mild. Room dining option is available with a larger menu.

Cons:

Corridors were a bit dark and the carpets needed TLC.

Pros:

Ambience from outside valet parking . Staff were very courteous and buffet was decent with multiple veg options . Despite crowd they opened the adjuscent restaurant to serve brekfast with live counter

Cons:

Room was pathetic, floors has dirty stain marks of water seepage and bath room water leakage issues shower water comes till room entrance

Lights did not work ,

NO WATER BOTTLE even after repeated requested

Small 250ml.water bottle provided 3 pets bottles for 3 pax room

No towels on time

Brush comes no paste

U need to call reception

No housekeeping service direct number .

Felt lodge was better atleast u cud go fetch water bottle from water dispenser .

Don't expect great view rooms.

Part of the room was wet and dew was formed. Poor service. Didn't respond to request. Not bothered about reviews.

Overall a decent place, but not in keeping with the Taj Group standards for a 5 star hotel.
Pros:

Cleanliness, front office staff, general ambience

Cons:

Quality of service eg: wake up call, poor internal communication network. Despite repaeatedly trying, nobody picks up the call from housekeeping, reception etc. Very frustrating.

Wonderful stay with truly caring staff
Pros:

We had an excellent stay at Vivanta, Chennai, thanks to the team's exceptional hospitality.

Breakfast and dinner were excellent, with great service from the entire kitchen team.

When I fell sick during our stay, Chef Kannan kindly prepared meals to help me recover while also making sure my kids had food they enjoyed. His thoughtfulness made a real difference during a difficult time.

Executive Housekeeper Mr. Dashprakash R. checked on us regularly, making sure every request was handled promptly. His dedication to guest comfort was truly appreciated.

Overall, our stay was warm, caring, and memorable. Sincere thanks to Chef Kannan, Mr. Dashprakash, Ms. Subashini, and the entire team!. We would love to stay here again.
