Great Experience Overall and we would go back.
Pros:

Great experience overall. Clean. Loved the music.

Cons:

The pool cabanas take up a lot of room limiting the number of lounge chairs that can be placed on the patio. 3 sides of the pool are taken up by non-lounge chairs. Lack of tables/space between lounge chairs is a bummer. The food/beverage options are limited with no BYO options. Food/beverage trailer doesn’t open until 3PM while the pool opens at 9AM so there is a long stretch of drought or a lot of trips back to the room.

A gem in touristy West Yarmouth
Pros:

This property is perfectly located and well refurbished. The staff are very kind and helpful, the amenities (outdoor/indoor pool; Dirty Birdie snack bar; fire pits; etc.) were very well maintained and exceeded expectations.

Cons:

The room’s have been updated very well; however, there is a slight dampness that comes with an air conditioning unit and not central air. We didn’t feel it impacted our stay but it’s something to note. It’s also an open-air motel so little bugs are bound to get in, such as gnats and the occasional small moth or ant. Not a huge deal!

A perfect balance of relaxation and fun!
Pros:

Loved the pool (outdoor part) with the option to reserve the cabana beds, all made better by the classic rock/music theme. The music choice was great and at just the right decibel level to not be disturbing or annoying during the day.

Cons:

The only suggestion I could make is to offer a breakfast and coffee option - perhaps expand the use of the food truck

The Freebird Rocks
Pros:

The hotel and grounds/pool were clean and well kept. The staff was very friendly. The location was central to everything that we wanted to do.

Cons:

My only complaint would be that the pillows are small and square instead of regular rectangular pillows.

Hi! i really enjoyed my stay at freebird. the only thing is , im sensative to mold and the room really smelled like it and the bathroom was full of it as well. I couldnt sleep since my nose was stuffed from it and i got headaches from it.
