Dirty and disappointing.
Pros:

Arrived late and there was nobody working the front desk. Was able to use the app to check in and open the door. Called the front desk again and still nobody. Room was beat up, no towels and the bathroom light was not controlled by the switch in the bathroom, but rather a switch in another room. Finally, at 8:00am there was no food left for breakfast and nobody was there. Not up to Marriott standards.

Friendly great place
Pros:

The staff as very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. The place was clean and the beds comfortable.

A Great Night Stay
Pros:

I needed a full kitchen to cook in for Thanksgiving and it worked out perfectly! Also, the rooms are definitely made with thick walls because you couldn't hear us or others or smell all the food I cooked which was a plus. Beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast was also pretty good, I liked the sausage.

Cons:

The shower pressure wasn't the best.

Owner is not customer oriented
Pros:

We reserved a room with points and had to cancel inside of the 48-hour window. Online it said that the points would be reinstated back to our account and there was potentially a fee. Called customer service about the fee and they could see no fee that would be charged. I called the front desk of the Residence Inn Champaign to confirm. They said the owners of the hotels have the option to allow points to be reinstated or not, and that the owner of the Residence Inn Champaign chooses not to allow points to be transferred back to a customer's account so we would be losing our points. I asked if I could have a list of hotels of this owner and of course couldn't get it. Sure won't ever stay at this hotel if that is the owner's stance though.

The Residence Inn was a great choice for a weary traveler. Good value for the money, well maintained

Good location, off the Interstate but far enough for no traffic noise. Convenient to many varied food choices. Clean facility and a spacious and well appointed room. Friendly staff and good breakfast. A good stay!

Fully Renovated?
Pros:

Booked directly on Marriott.com. If you are going to say "fully renovated" on the hotel banner why do I need this (or 2) in my room? Thanks for the upgrade from a Studio booking but, really?
