From the moment we arrived, we knew we had chosen the right place. Hotel du Vin Henley is in a fantastic location right next to the river, making it perfect for a relaxing stay and for exploring the beautiful town of Henley-on-Thames. The hotel itself is full of character, having been thoughtfully converted from a former brewery while still retaining all of its original charm. It has a unique atmosphere that makes it feel both historic and welcoming.
The rooms were stylish and comfortable, and every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely welcoming.
A very special mention has to go to Sunny ! on reception. She was absolutely brilliant throughout our stay always greeting guests with a warm smile, cheerful, approachable, and genuinely happy to help. She never stopped being positive and professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her exceptional customer service really made our stay even more enjoyable. She is a real credit to the hotel and deserves recognition for the fantastic job she does.
We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay and left already looking forward to our next visit. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hotel du Vin Henley to anyone looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful riverside setting with outstanding hospitality.
Thank you to the whole team & we'll definitely be back!
Location.well maintained.nice outdoor area
No lift, steep stairs for my wife who although not disabled struggles on stairs and no warning beforehand. Very poor choice in bistro in evenings and costly.
Beautifully restored and tastefully furnished
Steep stairs could be a problem for some people
The hotel is gorgeous. Keeping a lot of the original features. Our bedroom was lovely with a quirky upstairs bathroom which was huge. The beds were very comfortable. We had an evening meal.which was very nice and reasonably priced.
Car park was a little difficult to find and a little pricey. Had to leave by 11 even though next guest couldn't check in till 3. To stay an extra hour would be £15! Lighting in the bathroom could do with a shaving, make up light
Booked the Bistro for Saturday night and was one of the most dissapointing meals I have ever had
Location.
Staff were excellent.
Bath
Non slip stainless steel shower tray.
Stairs and no apparent lift.
Me imaginé algo más imponente
Estaba bien. Los pisos sonaban a viejo
Great location, comfortable rooms and beds and great evening meal and Breakfast
Everything was great
We liked it all, a good position in Henley.
Plenty of choice for breakfast.
Underground parking spaces, not many but considering it was Henley Festival we got a parking spaces.
Beautiful decor and an excellent location. Air con in the bedroom was very efficient and completely soundless which I liked very much
Nothing
Close to the centre of Henley
It was supposed to be an air con room but it wasn’t very effective as a result the room was far too warm
