We had another lovely stay. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The Hotel is gorgeous and our room was 1st class. Only problem we had was getting access to the hotel car park. We rang the day before and were told we should be able to get access to the car park at 12 noon. We arrived to find the car park was full. We couldn't get access until between 3 and 4pm because there was a meeting and guests were leaving late. This meant we had to pay for outside parking firstly in the street and then in a car park near the river. It did ruin our 1st day as we had to hang around. Once booked in all was good for the rest of iur stay.
The room was really nice and the staff were lovely.
Very nice rooms which had all been recently decorated. Rooms at the rear of the hotel are very quiet so no chance of disturbed sleep.
There is an impossibly small underground car park. Only room for about a dozen cars at a push, and entry to it is almost impossible for anything much bigger than a mini. We tried in our average sized family car and gave up. So we ended up having to park in the boat museum car park, approx half a mile away, overnight.
Also, very disappointed that the bar shut just five minutes after 11pm. I would have expected better from a hotel such as this.
Loved the staff and location. Room was great and good value
The location was superb. Pleased to gain a hotel parking space for convenience. The staff were very welcoming. Informative & friendly. The main areas of the hotel such as the champagne bar, library room & bistro were delightful. Excellent food. We opted for the fixed price menu so very good value. And we received a £15 gift voucher for the bar if opting out of housekeeping which was a nice touch and it was made clear we could still request any top ups regarding milk, teabags, toilet rolls etc which we did. Very large comfortable bed and blackout curtains so slept well.
Our deluxe room initially chosen for us was gorgeous but very hot & couldn't open any windows so asked if possible to move which was accommodated without hesitation. However, the 2nd choice was an open bath & shower within the bedroom which we wouldn't choose as appreciate a little privacy with such things. Plus the toilet door had a glazed glass which again wasn't overally private with the light on. We didn't feel it was generally well appointed as nowhere to sit and apply make-up or blow dry your hair. And very little areas to place toiletries, etc. But we did have windows that opened up partially looking out onto the courtyard so kept the room cooler which was important to us. This room was also up a flight of stairs.

Tutto perfetto
La gentillesse du personnel, la localisation parfaite, la propreté
The initial room was noisy but we were given a quiet room when we asked for one. The staff on duty the day we arrived were very good indeed
Excellent room and bathroom
The room was super hot when we arrived and difficult to cool down. There was only one hand towel and one bath towel for two of us. We could have requested more but we were very tired and decided to manage.
Good quality hotel with nice decor all round. In a great location.
Parking is £15 a night and someone blocked me in.
Very modern
Paying for parking. Over priced breakfast... no option for just toast.
Central, car park, helpful staff and comfortable

It’s a beautiful hotel, both the rooms, restaurant and reception spaces are lovely to spend time in. It worked really well for us as a family group staying for a one night celebration.
