Beautiful, definitely has a nice romantic touch.
Pros:

The suit was beautiful, the well was really a nice touch and the whole place felt so authentic and stunning. I appreciate the free drinks. 2 cokes, 2 diet cokes, 2 Heineken, 2 other beers 2 wine in a can, and 2 other flavoured cans of wine.

The espresso machine was nice, the tv was great however it doesn't work well on iPhones. The outside private area was really beautiful and such a nice vibe!

The bed was comfortable, the sofa was clean.

The toiletries were all there and the shampoo, body wash all smelt incredible!!

The lighting was amazing!

Cons:

Regarding the TV my misses with an apple iphone couldn't cast her phone to the TV but luckily me being on Android, i didnt have any issues at all.

There was a mini fridge but it was not connected and turned on, later realised the plug wasn't on.

The outdoor private area doesn't have a handle outside, and the ash tray wasn't on top of the table, instead it was flipped upside down where the leaves are.

The thermostat was awful. It was stuck on 22 degrees which i did find it too warm, and even tho there are arrows pointing up and down, you couldn't lower it or increase it.

It would have been nice if they included breakfast bars but honestly the fact that they had all these alcoholic drinks free for the taking fully makes up for it.

I wish i could adjust the picture quality and the sound quality through the remote settings but it wasn't a problem at all, just a nice to have but i understand how frustrating it could be for the workers to have to constantly reset it.

The shower has a leak on the top, so when you turn it on, it turns into a fountain.

The left side of the bed pointing to the wall, the bed side lamp brightness was not adjustable but the other side was (literally such a minor thing)

We like Hotel du Bin as a group, as the quality and interest of the properties and food is excellent
Pros:

A good hotel and consistent with our experiences of others in the HdV chain. The meals were very good. Accessibility on entering the property and within it is awkward in places, due to lots of steps, heavy doors and quirks of the interesting building.

Cons:

See above

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff but in need of some TLC. .
Pros:

The building is beautiful and very well situated. We had a room facing the courtyard but did have an office block overlooking. It was nice & quiet. Tea/coffee & water provided and a mini fridge. The room was a good size. Bathroom was large with shower over the bath. The staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Everywhere was nice & clean.

Cons:

The hotel is beautifully decorated but is looking very tired and needs TLC. Our bathroom was clean but the wood was splitting at the edge of the bath and seals need replacing. It was little things like the curtains were not hanging correctly. The leather topped desk was full of marks and worn out. Carpet stained.
We paid a fair price for our stay but it’s January. I would love to return but I’m sure the prices will hike up in warmer months. I would not pay increased prices for the same conditions.
We have stayed in 3 different hotel du vin hotels and they are usually a very high standard & worth the higher prices. This hotel has the potential but lacks the finer details at present.
