Beautifully decorated.
Charming small boutique hotel. Lovely staff who work every hard w respect to ensure a delightful stay.
No view particularly but rooms are charming
Beautiful room. Great bar area. Fabulous staff
The only slight downside is there is no parking and it’s expensive to park in the hotel next door so we parked out of town which was a bit of a faff
Large room, quirky
The restaurant is a disaster, bar too
Great location
Even with notice, the restaurant was hopeless in catering for allergies. All food is prepared off site and brought in. I can only assume they do not employ chefs!
Cosy atmosphere. Comfortable room [good shower] and bed. Helpful staff. Excellent light breakfast [good coffee] and good evening meal in a very pleasant bistro. Close to the Fitzwilliam museum and an easy walk into town.
It would have been good if the library had been available [it was being used for a private function - although fair enough].
I believe it would have been kind to guests and staff if a toilet brush had been put beside the toilet.
Location and room decor very good. Staff friendly.
Our room had a persistent ‘knocking’ noise repeating every few minutes. Despite speaking to reception staff multiple times, and being told that maintenance would sort it out whilst we were out for the evening this didn’t happen. We were out late into the evening and returned to the banging, which continued until our departure.
Mentioned again at checkout to be told this was a known problem with air trapped in the pipes in our room. No apology.
Very disappointing as this was a trip for a special occasion.
Location was good, very close to centre of Cambridge, friendly staff
We stayed in the signature suite, disappointed with a couple of things, in the bathroom the shower dial was chipped, the sink was cracked and the toilet seat didn’t fit, not what I would expect for a room that is charged at over £400 a night.
Fantastic receptionist who helped me find a nice room.
Unusual lay out and room. Surprisingly spacious room.
Would be nice to have some form of Bluetooth speaker in the room
Really friendly staff and lovely large room
