I thought the price a bit dear at £95 all hotels in Kings Lynn
Are very expensive.

These points are not to condemn the place its self
We knew it was a pub so going to be noisy at times
Not a problem
And your not paying hotel prices
These are just points I think could make it a better stay


Shower just gave out really hot water could not get it to cool down

Maybe we was doing something wrong but you can only turn the knob 2 ways

Mattress was a little thin and slightly uncomfortable but once asleep didn’t wake me

Couldn’t find a lock on outside window and there is a roof snout 2 ft below it

We didnt sleep at all due to the extremely loud noise coming from the pub below the room. Severely offensive language continuously until very late, cigarette smoke drifting into our room due to the window not fully closing and the room was very dirty, stained bedding and cobwebs over all walls and skirting. We booked for 2 nights but left after the 1st night

I was pleased by the positive feedbacks about cleanliness, so I booked this room, but unfortunately I was shocked by the opposite. First impression quite nice, a room above a pub, perfect combo for a weekend away by the seaside..I was not expecting luxury for £90 x night but I booked a clean place and I was shocked by the opposite. Luckily I open our bed around 9pm, while staff was still around, as the bed was not changed after previous guests, I already ignored and clean the toilet seat myself as we found it splashed with dirt.. I always carry hygienic wipes so I cleaned it myself, the bin in the toilet was full, again I let it go.. the top was broken..but the sheets and covers full of hair it's a big NO NO!my evening ruined when I only wanted to enjoy early bed with a book... I waited from 8 pm till 10pm for clean bedsheet and don't have me started on the cupboard where everything is kept 😧
The bartender who was the kindest and friendliest, went out his way to try and sort this issue for us, he was so stressed that only for him I kept my cool not to call the owner and shame them. He needs a raise, he was handling the pub on his own and sorting our accommodation problems. Not fair on your staff! You NEED to do better! And you need cleaners who CLEAN! we could have been regulars but won't return!

A lot was missing g from the room for better comfort. Only one smallish towel. No where to hang clothes not even a hanger!! No bedside light and the main light was right in far corner. Door lock difficult to use and not very strong. Staff were very nice and helpful.

Noisy. Could hear the room next doors bathroom fan…sounded like an aircraft. Terrible thin towels which barely dried you. Shower coming off wall (husband tried to sort it). No ice for drinks in the bar.

Shower cubicle was small so it was difficult to move in it.

Rooms are a little on the small size. But to be expected being a old pub

The dustbin was cleaned daily and tea and coffee was replaced. I'm not sure if that was part of stay, or if it was self cleaning and service.

No food was available in the morning or evening. Facilties in the room were minimal. Nowhere to hang any clothes. Suitcase had to be left on the floor. Minimum amount of instant coffee and tea bags available, but nothing to nibble on. Temperature of the hot water in the shower was dangerously high even before the override.
