Worst smell ever

We did not get the room we booked. One of the mattresses in our room was 5 inches thick and very hard. I found a drug paraphernalia bag with crack or meth, glass pipes etc. in the chest of drawers. We brought the bag to the front desk for them to deal with and to not be accused of drug possession and use leading to legal troubles. Someone's personal items were still in closet and dressing table and are still there now as I write this. The tv remote had to be replaced. There was no remote for the climate control. Our check in host worked very hard and was able to get the remotes for us and in woorking order. She was very pleasant and accommodating. We had to go into the stairwell to use internet from one of the other rooms on our floor. We were patient the next day hoping the hotel would fix things for us thinking it was busy because it's the weekend. They did not. Sunday morning we asked to be moved to the room we booked but they declined. There are 3 rooms per floor and 8 floors in Hanoi Shining Hotel. We were informed by another host 1 room on each floor was like ours. They could not change our room because they were booked by someone else. We watched many guests check out on Sunday and we are to check out on Tuesday (4 nights total). Our substandard room was not cleaned after our first night. The receptionist informed us that they did not have a key because the tenant of our room was in south Vietnam on business.and they did not have another. The cleaner a key today.

Great value! Good place to stay in proximity of the airport. It has a nice garden on the rooftop and a restaurant within the building where you can order breakfast - with good coffee!

Absolutely awful hotel, one of the worst I have ever stayed in. all the money is spent on reception leaving the rooms in a terrible condition. Our room was advertised as having a window, the window looked into the hallway. The bedding had bog bones and kennels on it, it was dog bedding. the shower is over the toilet and leaks so it drips on you when you use the toilet. The bathroom stunk of raw sewage. Every cupboard had padlocks on and signs saying 'staff steal, don't leave belongings'. We stayed for 1 night as we had an early flight to catch, worse idea ever. Bin bags littered the outside entrance. They had a live band directly under the rooms that played all night and into the early hours so nobody slept, apparently this is on every night. The room was dirty, bedding had blood on it as well as dirt. Bathroom was rotten. Stay somewhere else!

飛行機の到着が遅れ、ホテルに到着したのが25時過ぎましたがフロントにスタッフがおり、スムーズにチェックインが出来ました。
海外旅行は2回目、初めてのカンボジア、英語はほぼ話せません。

1泊でしたが快適に過ごせました。

I got a room smell of cigarettes smell the whole duration of my stay. I need a non smoking room !

I do not recommend this hotel to stay. I stayed there from 20 to 25 March 2024. I had the worst experience, nearly 1000 USD was stolen in the hotel room when I went out downtown. I informed the receptionist but the receptionist didn't take action on this problem. The next day on 26 March, she replied that their staff did not take anything from the hotel room. I asked her, to inform this problem to their Manager via phone and also Facebook. Later, even though I phoned the next day, they did not reply anything. This was terrible for me and also surprised by their actions on this. That is why I do not recommend staying in this hotel. No responsibility, No Customer Service.

空港からグラブでトゥクトゥクを捕まえて行くと便利です。ホテルマンは丁寧に対応してくれます。立地の割に安いですが、基本的なアメニティなどの設備が整っています。

I slept here for one night on the final leg of a 14-day self-driving road trip.

I chose this neighborhood because I wanted to stay close to the airport and the drop-off point for my rental car. There are a number of guest houses in the area but none looked appealing. After driving around the area I settled on this hotel mostly because it had some parking.

This is what I would call a business style hotel. Although the rooms were clean and well-appointed, they are very small and are really only suitable for a one night stay.

The least expensive rooms don't have windows. As I prefer some natural light, I chose a more expensive room with a window at a walk-in rate of $30 USD.

On a more positive note: Street 113, to the north of the hotel is chock-full of authentic Chinese restaurants. I felt as if I was in Yunnan. Not only was there delicious food but ice-cold Chinese beer. I would gladly stay in this neighborhood just to eat my way up Street 113.

Older hotel. Rooms are old but okay for one night. Convenient since it’s close to the airport. Provides complimentary airport drop off.

Short stay to catch next flight. Not a clean or comfortable place to stay for the price it charge.

My husband and I stayed here for one night before flying out of Phnom Penh and were very impressed. Our room was large, clean and comfortable. Extremely good value, would stay here again when needing something close to the airport.

I only spend a day at this property so I didn’t get to explore much but the room was clean and decent.
