Beautiful hotel

Great price and friendly staff. Close to everything and a 5 min walk from the ADO bus terminal that goes everywhere

I always stay here whenever I travel to Playa del Carmen!!

We loved staying here!! The entrance is right off of 5th Avenue. Fah bar and restaurant has good food and has great live music.

We stayed on the bottom floor, room 102, close to the bar and the music at night didnt bother us. We liked being able to hear it from the comfort of our king bed. The pool could be nice, but the constant falling of leaves from the tree prevents that. I think they only run the pump for a short period each day. We didnt come for the pool thankfully. We liked having a patio with a table and chairs, but the mosquitos were too bad in the courtyard to sit outside. The staff was very nice and they are there 24 hours. We felt safe with the gated entry, but they need to add another gate from the bar. Anyone can walk through the bar to the hotel. Our room was nice and clean. The maid came every day. The lock on our door needs fixed.The shower is pretty small, but over all fine. We would definitely stay there again for the price!!

El hotel está bonito, en la quinta avenida a lado de un restaurante y frente a un bar, puede ser un poco ruidoso por la noche, pero si vas de fiesta a playa del carme no tienes problema con ello.

This is a hard review because we love this hotel Playa Del Carmen is a yearly destination for us and after staying here last year we had no intention to ever stay anywhere else the penthouse was perfect for us. This year we rented the penthouse again and were not informed that the lower bedroom was not available and locked up Everything was dirty nothing was prepped for our visit the refrigerator was in and out so we lost food that we purchased the microwave took four days to arrive as apparently the old one was broken and instead of buying a new one they had to wait for someone to check out to bring us a replacement. The stove didn’t work the oven didn’t work the whole room smelled like a fish tank our mattress was stained and disgusting. After all of that they still tried to charge us 350 pesos to replace a towel because they said it was excessively dirty so we took it back upstairs and hand washed it brought it back to white and had to take it back down something they could’ve done with the washing machine. They provided no bath mats no dish towels for the kitchen. The pool was cloudy and disgusting and just a mosquito breeding ground so the mosquitoes were unbearable when sitting on the balcony. The reservation showed up to six people we checked in with four and when my niece came for the final two nights they tried to charge me for her. The water was shut off twice. We have already booked with a different hotel for next year and are so disappointed

A little noisy

Walking distance to everything shopping restaurants bars and beach. I've stayed here a few times in the past but this time the ceilling was leaking water. the staff promptly gave me a different room. This place is my go to when visiting playa.

Staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms are small and very antiquated. There was no hot water in our room for two days. The door to bathroom was rusted on the bottom and did not lock.

Pros: located right in the heart of the shopping and nightlife district.

cons: as mentioned above and no elevators if you’re carrying heavy luggage. Definitely not a place where you’ll sleep in the quiet.

It is a good place to stay, you can enjoy the party with only going out the hotel, really good location. If you don't like the noise it is not for you. This place is good for families

Loved the penthouse, classic charm and great service from reception. Right on 5th and easy walk to the beach. Spacious with all the amenities. Reception was very helpful and friendly. Cons terrible water pressure upstairs, the penthouse is third floor and the hotel has elevator and the noise level was incredible. A lot of reviews complained about loud music, I booked anyway because late night music is typical in Mexico. The hotel bar and the nightclub on the backside combined to make concert level noise with overlapping music until 3am every night. If you are a night owl it shouldn’t be a bother but if you need sleep that’s impossible. I would still stay again as accommodation and location were awesome.

Great stay, nice pool area offers a little seclusion. I love the staff all very friendly.

Nice oasis tucked away from the city. Just know there is a bar and they play music at night. I enjoyed having the live music others may not. Well landscaped and nice staff.
