Comfortable beds and excellent shower. Hotel is set in a nice wooded area away from the town. Breakfast was good but not exceptional. Parking is good and free.
Staff helpful and friendly, shout out to Rose on reception in particular. Just a few miles drive from Assen circuit.
The place is part of a holiday complex so overrun with kids running around. Long walk into town, pleasant though.

The rooms were spacious, tidy, and well-maintained, with a touch of luxury featuring a sensor-activated toilet, a touchscreen mirror, and a sleek glass shower enclosure.
Very expensive for what you get. I initially thought I had booked an all-inclusive stay through Booking.com, but it turned out to be just one night with breakfast nothing more.
When I added dinner, even cold drinks weren’t included in the price...only coffee or tea. Everything else came at an extra cost, including activities like bowling.
The buffet lacked variety, there were no premium meat options at the live cooking station, and overall the food didn’t taste great.
To top it all off, we were locked out of our room because the door lock battery had died. After waiting about an hour (tired and with kids)we were finally helped. The staff then advised us not to leave the room too often, as the lock might fail again, meaning we’d have to walk back to reception each time just to get it recharged.
I usually visit Preston Palace, and I decided to try something different this time, but unfortunately, it was a disappointment.
