Beautiful Cascades in the mountains
Pros:

Amazing from reception, food, service, room and the great staff. I would appreciate one queen bed as opposed to 2 single beds for the two of us because we are like twins and prefer 1 queen bed.

Overall it was amazing. The waterfall is a must see. One night is to short. There is a lot of walking trails we did not do. Sad. When settling the account and you did use something. just make sure that there is no misunderstanding. Check your account before leaving. Misunderstanding can cause you pay too much or too little.

Friendly staff and impressive grounds
Pros:

Outside appearance of Cascade is impressive and grounds / swimming pool area excellent. Not too impressed there was a lot of work to the building going on and no prior warning given about this. Also forest fire immediately around property has negatively affected the countryside, and while out of control of property itself, I believe potential visitors should be informed.

A little piece of heaven

A little piece of Heaven. The manor is absolutely beautiful! Stunning grounds and beautiful waterfall nearby. The staff are wonderful and the food delicious. The owner very thoughtful. Although a little off the beaten track, it's definitely worth staying here, the serenity and all's the the manor has to offer ie spa, wine tours can be arrange by them with a great tour guy-Andre, who knows the winyards and history of the the area, the food and friendly staff. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious, bed are comfy. The manor is truely a hidden gem.

Decent B & B a little overpriced
Pros:

Room was sort of OK nice bathroom with small sink. Beautiful outdoor areas with waterfall on back of property. Nice pool area. A bit out of the way and hard to find at the end of a long dirt road. Good breakfast.

Great guest house
Pros:

Staying here has been one of the highlights of our trip to SA.
The service and setting of the lodge were second to none and in terms of value for money it was outstanding.
There was a wonderful old world feel about the place and the service matched this.
All meals were on ten terrace with great views of the pool and grounds

Great Family Getaway!
Pros:

Our family stay was great. This is a great place for a young family. There are great hiking trails and a lovely waterfall nearby. The onsite spa was also great with a heated indoor pool.

Cascade is tops
Pros:

They have an amazing masseuse. The staff are delightful. The surroundings are gorgeous. The food was incredible. This was just hands down a wonderful time.

Lovely stay

Really great stay, Barry was very helpful and the staff very friendly. He went to great lengths to help with all my requests. The setting is absolutely stunning with the waterfall and garden. We got to take some beautiful photos for my son's matric farewell dance. What really impressed us was the guy that washed our vehicles every morning!! The hotel needs attention in some places though its still elegant and stylish. The negatives was the lack of amenities in the bathrooms which is expected at a 4 star establishment (shower caps, shampoo and conditioner) and strangely the turn-down service was only done for 1 person though we were a couple! We had dinner the first night and although the food was good the portion sizes were very small - I saw my teenage son were not getting full so I gave him half my food and ended up going to be a little hungry. There were also no snacks in the mini bar as per the price list in the room, so I couldn't even get something to eat there. All in all it was a lovely stay and I would definitely return should the opportunity arise.
