We paid for a 2-star hotel and we got a 2-star hotel. We only booked it as we were going to a football game at Old Trafford. It serviced its purpose. It was clean-ish and comfortable-ish. The communication from the hotel prior to arrival was great.
The air conditioning was extremely noisy. We were put in a disabled room (which wasn't needed or requested), the room as old and in need of updating.
Location was perfect jump on the tram round the corner and into city centre in ten mins. Gift
I know it was a budget hotel but like one socket for the room was a bit uncalled for lol. I hate ibis toilets also you've got more room in a portable outdoor toilet.

I would've liked tea & coffee facilities in the room but once I got used to going downstairs to make one it was fine

The breakfast isn’t great. Lots of places very close by that would be e better, cheaper option than what’s on offer at the hotel
