It smelled like damp not just the room but the corridors as well and room was always cold no matter how much we adjusted the temperature. I couldn’t check out exactly at 12 due to being unwell and when I told housekeeping this I got a reply of ‘well I need to clean the room’.
I already knew the Ibis Budget brand, and once again it proved to be an excellent choice. This hotel offers a great format for a comfortable stay of a few nights.

Location, check-in experience, and cleanliness were all good. Budget really sums it up, though - room decor was nice, but corridors and decor outside the rooms needs updating.
Only face, hair, body, and hand wash (in one product!) available in the shower.
But the breakfast was dire - only continental - and poor continental at that - when booking.com said "Great breakfast"? I don't think so. Not even an option for a cooked breakfast at additional cost. I know it's budget, but for the same money I could have booked somewhere with a cooked breakfast if I'd only known... Thoroughly underwhelming and coloured my impression of the stay.
