Excellent stay in Southend
Pros:

Excellent location right by the seafront, close enough to walk to centre but far enough to be relatively quiet. Very friendly welcome, great spacious room, great clean and comfortable bed. Bathroom clean and well appointed. Highly recommend!

Cons:

Room could use some bedside lamps, otherwise everything was perfect.

Nice beds, lovely shower, staff were nice, ground floor

Cons:

Couldn't access garden as locked with no keys, Would have been better if there were light switches or a real lamp near the beds, parking was available however not many spaces out of the front and I think would struggle at all in the summer.

Opening the curtains and the sea is right there. Warm, clean, brilliant location. Personally, I would of liked a softer bed. Gentleman on reception very helpful.

Pros:

Very clean and smart I had no complaints about the room at all. Great big TV

Good hotel with free on road parking which is a plus in Southend
Pros:

Large room with comfortable double beds and good bathroom

Cons:

Didn't have a bedside light switch or light but found hotel sign lit up.....but didn't find that until the morning

Room with view as stated on booking. Would stay again if problems were fixed

Cons:

No-one on reception until 11. Had to book out by then Had a problem with kettle which had burnt dry previous to our visit and no one to speak to for a replacement. Therefore had no hot drink on site.
