Pros:

Jacuzzi actually works and the whirlpool! Many times it is out of service at various hotels. Everything was nice at this location.

Cons:

I could not find information on whether the room had a balcony or not.

STAY HERE IF HEADING TO LAKE PLACID!
Pros:

This hotel is just gorgeous with an expansive fireplace, bar and dining area for the AM breakfast. Hotel is decorated in the Adirondack theme. Two couple2 reserved 2 rooms looking over Mirror Lake, WOW what a view, especially at nighttime. Good downtown location, walked to Olympic Museum and Herb Brooks Arena. Eddy at the front desk was incredibly pleasant, excellent customer service. We were headed to Nagra Falls and had to leave the next day, We all wished we could have stayed here a few more nights.

not a good stay...I left early
Pros:

My room was dirty again, She cleaned toilet but didn't flush and the sink was dirty. People at the front desk and housekeeping don't speak English and it's very uncomfortable. Housekeeping knocked on my door to ask if "I wanted to extend my stay for $269." I had told Ozzy the front desk manager I paid for Friday the day I arrived. I called front desk and was told it was their mistake and they were sorry. I had bugs in my room again. I gave the dead ones to the front desk and left early. I definitely wasn't comfortable staying another night. The positive of the stay is whirlpool/pool and breakfast. I sent Ozzy a hand written letter May 7 2026 and got no reply. I asked for a refund $269 and to pay for the phone/minutes I had to buy due to their metal lamp burning my charger.
