Beachfront, quiet, good location!
Pros:

Great location right on the beach and close to several restaurants. We appreciated having a microwave, coffee maker, and utensils available outside the room. The room was comfortable and clean. Although the property is a bit older, it is well maintained and met our expectations. Considering the price and beachfront location, we really have no complaints. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying here again.

Worth it if you don’t want to be in the city/it’s not tourist season (aka the price change makes all the difference)
Pros:

It’s in a good, quiet location, the outside is very pretty and the interior of the hotel is charming and well maintained.

Cons:

We noticed after a few days we could smell/were affected by mould somewhere in the bathroom and had to keep the fan running/door closed to the bathroom otherwise we would feel a little sick when we would wake up. We couldn’t find it so it was likely treated recently but we could feel/smell it. The staff doing check in could work on their friendliness…but the cleaning staff were always in a good mood and on top of everything.

Hotel okay, mehr aber auch nicht

Sehr gute Lage und gute Parkmöglichkeiten, freundliches Personal. Insgesamt war es okay aber mehr auch nicht. Vom Hotel aus sind viele Ausflugsziele gut erreichbar.

Cons:

Das Hotel ist insgesamt sehr abgewohnt und benötigt eine Renovierung. Die Zimmer sowie die Bäder sind sehr altmodisch und nicht mehr auf dem aktuellen Stand. Dafür war es einfach zu teuer. Wir haben uns gefühlt wie in einer Jugendherberge. Auch der Außenbereich könnte schöner und auch freundlicher gestaltet sein. Die Sitzgelegenheiten am Strand sind alt und schmutzig, alles wirkt etwas lieblos. Im Vergleich zu den anderen Unterkünften auf Vancouver Island die wir hatten, war dies die schlechteste. Auch der Strand ist nahezu nicht nutzbar, da alles voller Totholz liegt und es eher gefährlich ist, sich da zu bewegen.

Pros:

De locatie is heel mooi. Prachtige plek aan het water. Veel parkeerplekken en het hotel is een betaalbare optie.

Cons:

Er zaten donkere vlekken in de matrassen. We kregen een kamer boven de wasruimte, waarin de wasmachines de hele nacht doordraaide en veel geluid maakte. Na een klacht te hebben ingediend, kregen we een andere kamer. Daar was het geluid ietsje minder. Het hotel is primitief, oud en daardoor wat viezig.

Pros:

I loved the property - very pretty.

Cons:

My room was right under the set of stairs to the 2nd level - people were going up and down them all night. And there were 3 spot lights shining into my room, which prevent me from being able to leave the blinds open and hear the ocean.

Great location at a reasonable price!
Pros:

Great location and having a balcony room that faced the sea for a very reasonable price …tea/coffee available all day in the lobby. Comfortable bed!

Cons:

It was a bit far from the better restaurants in Campbell River. The furnishings were basic but it was clean.

Pros:

De koffie die we zelf mochten zetten was van goede kwaliteit.

Cons:

6 overnachtingen, NUL keer de prullenbakken geleegd, NUL keer schoongemaakt, etc.
Ongezellige kamers.
