Good price but dirty, dated, and most new staff are HORRIBLE

The price was good and it is close to downtown

Cons:

There were a few new staff, and unfortunately this was not an improvement. In the past there was rypically a senior male who was at the front desk who was lovely to deal with. On this extended stay, myltiple new staff were difficult to deal with. In particular, one man who was extremely condescending, rude, and untruthful making false accusations when we first arrived and then continually told us to do things against hotel policy (ex. Bring our bike onto our patio) in a way that seemed he was attempting to get us in trouble with other staff. Any time he was working I was reluctant to even go downstairs in case he had another distasteful remark or threat to make. That being said another staff I hadn't met before who spoke little English went above and beyond to ensure he understood our needs so that he was able to fully fulfill any requests or answer our questions appropriately by using a phone app or clarifying with other staff then coming up to our room so we weren't made to wait. He was excellent!

Pros:

La signora delle colazioni veramente gentile e accogliente.
Camera in vecchio stile, nessun parquet ma moquette ovunque, vasca/doccia bella calda e wifi funzionante.
Parcheggio interno sotterraneo comodo soprattutto nei mesi invernali.

Perfect location and good room for us!
Pros:

Loved the patio and the ocean views. Bed was comfy and shower was good. We had a kitchen and we needed some supplies and we were provided. Our room was nice and big with a Murphy bed in living room if needed. Full size fridge and stove was nice.
It was wonderful to be able to wash some laundry onsite at no extra cost. A good ice machine.

Cons:

The breakfast was lacking a bit as the food wasn’t replenished when empty. It appeared the staff didn’t care if you found something to eat or not.
I’m not a fan of underground parking as it’s extremely tight and if parking lot is full there’s no way of knowing without checking first.
Stairs were carpeted and in drastic need of vacuuming.
I tried contacting via booking dot and didn’t receive answers. All this is easy to forgive if you’re ok with it; we were.
