lovely clean room, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family and would happily stay here again in the future.
car park was full and struggled to find a parking space initally.
Most of the staff well super helpful and the food was delicious
I paid for an upgrade the view was lovely but the room was dated and shabby.
The bottle of wine we had with dinner was £57!!!!! It retails at £17 which is an horrendous mark up!!
The spa area wasn't very clearly sign posted and to be honest the changing rooms were not very clean and look like they're half finished.
Staff helpful. Room upgrade really appreciated as it was a birthday celebration weekend. Vegan options available.
Dinner menu a bit limited.
The room was very clean and just as requested with Sea view. The staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble when asked for milk, sugar and coffee top ups.
Nothing
Location, parking. Very clean and plenty of hot water with excellent shower pressure.Breakfast was passable, cleverly they call a full English “The Falmouth “ leaving out fried bread, beans and Black pudding . Staff were attentive.
I understand the hotel had recently changed hands and refurbishment was in progress . However, our twin was tiny, both beds pushed together and barely room to walk the three sides. The built in furniture had reached its end , all the unit tops the original vinyl wrap wood effect was curling and peeling was unsightly . Noise was apparent , stayed Fri/Sat both nights had functions and the noise was noticeable as was from an adjacent room. I should have bought ear plugs! The public areas particularly the dining room need attention, I changed my dining chair on two occasions because the glue joints had gone dry and they weren’t stable.
Gorgeous building in a great location and fantastic views.
Lots of parking too
I love the old grandeur of the place, rooms were maybe done in the 80’s / 90’s in not such a nice way.
It would be nice to see them restored sympathetically incorporating that old grandeur.
Lobby and bar area were lovely, the spa looked lovely too but didn’t get chance to use sadly.
The room was a little old and tired, I know rooms are being refurbished though and there are a lot to get through.
The room where breakfast was served could also benefit to be renovated to be in keeping with how the bar area has been done.
The old style glamour and decor, it's next to brilliant beaches, the town and other cafes. The view from the lounges and dining areas changes with the weather, you never know what colour the sea will be from minute to minute. Beds were really comfortable. The food was of a great standard.
Not a problem for us we loved our stay in Jan 2026 but customers should be aware, that the hotel is going through renovations discreetly , the public room and many bedrooms have been upgraded, but some are being done slowly without causing noise and disruption to other hotel guests, so worth checking if you want a newly decorated room.
Everyone friendly
Good location
Great facilities
Dobar doručak
Extremely helpful and efficient staff. Wonderful location. Comfortable rooms
overall very good
all ok
Absolutely loved the hotel, it’s a beautiful building with lots of character and history. Room was clean, and mattress very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and gorgeous sea view from breakfast room
The bed closest to the window was wet when we arrived (window had been left open and rain had come in), despite promising they would come right away to change the bedding, it was never changed and reception was not available by the time we came back in again. Only 1 towel in bathroom for a twin room with 2 occupants, and no spare in bedroom. Sealing broken around shower screen so floor in bathroom soaked after shower.
Enjoyed selection of hot breakfasts
Breakfast room was very warm
The location and staff were exemplary!
Slightly dated in some areas but over all very nice.
Decoration and interior was outdated. The breakfast menu was basic.
Breakfast was good, possibly slightly understaffed ..
All staff very willing to do the best floor the guests.
Fantastic views from our room looking over Falmouth bay .
Generally very happy with our stay.
Meals in the restaurant could have done with a little more detail and finesse.
