Exceptional.
Pros:

The Falmouth Hotel is timelessly elegant and is in a wonderful location. The staff could not have been better, from the first welcome to our reluctant departure. They were helpful, kind and friendly. Breakfast was great quality, with a good selection and the service was excellent.

The view from the bedroom spectacular.
Fabulous building.

Cons:

The hotel needs some TLC it is a bit rundown.
A telephone call mid afternoon when we were asleep asking how the room was!
Soap dispensers at shower height are hopeless for the bath.

Lovely but I’ll upgrade next time.
Pros:

The old style opulence is reflected in the decor, the staff are lovely, views/proximity to town is great. Breakfast excellent! Would try room service breakfast next time for the luxury value!

Cons:

This time a double, lovely large bed but small room and facilities unremarkable, no fridge. Would go for executive double next time as the room we had last time spoilt us!

Disappointing
Pros:

Comfy bed, warm room and in a great location. Staff doing their best, other than the cleaning team.

Cons:

The hotel is very tired. The room I was booked into had dirty skirting boards and mould on the windows. Also there was staining on the ceiling from a previous water leak. Furniture was old and damaged. In the breakfast room there was also clear damp damage.

The beautiful views saved the day
Pros:

Lovely looking hotel from the outside, beautiful grounds, downstairs area’s lovely, upstairs very tired,quiet location, amazing sea views, most of the staff very friendly & chatty, bit pricey restaurant for the portions, but understandable hotel prices. No entertainment at all, highly recommended the treatments

Evening reception staff completely un bothered that someone had taken our clearly signed disabled parking space, left us with nowhere to park, the comment was people don’t care nowadays!!
our bed was only made up once in a weeks stay, also had no milks replenished in our room twice & had to ask for more, the heating in the bathroom was permanently on, knob broken so couldn’t turn it off, really could do with our room being redecorated next !!
