Beautiful location close to beach and town, staff are very friendly and all in all a nice place to stay.
Very expensive for a property that is in desperate need of renovation, wall paper is hanging off walls, carpets are ripped and patched, damp patches in rooms.
Easy access from Falmouth Docks train station few hundred yards.
Beautiful view from superior double room with huge balcony with furniture outside.
Room was absolutely stunning, everything in room couldn’t fault coffee making and tea facilities great little fridge very good and cold, very clean room no marks o carpet, settee or anything.
Bed very comfortable overall a brilliant stay thank you The Falmouth Hotel.
Beautiful bathroom very clean and big unfortunately you got to climb into bath to use shower not great for me disabled or older people who are abundant in this hotel , but I’m not complaining just be careful.
There was a good choice of breakfast. Helpful staff. Hotel was really clean and tidy
Beautiful location
Parts of the hotel are still very dated.
Staff very helpful. Nothing was any trouble. Accommodated my partners dietry needs. Loved the location. Great scenic views. Will definitely be going back

Staff were friendly, location was excellent
Breakfast was not good hardly any choice, facilities of spa were unclean. Room little bit small for value for money
Great location. Close to centre of town and to the main beach.
The hotel was generally very dated / tired.
Rooms (and the double bed) were particularly small.
Our room with a sea view which came at an extra cost was very disappointing.
Realise it was a busy "graduation" weekend but the accommodation was very overpriced and poor value for money.
Breakfast on the Sunday morning was a disaster as it took 45-60 minutes to get served.
Just a fabulous hotel.
It was all great.
Lovely historical hotel being nicely refurbished - still in progress - eg hallways not yet redone - but that wasn’t a problem. Great views.
Restaurant was pricey and service could have been more attentive.
Clean hotel, lounge comfortable.
Great views
The bed and pillows uncomfortable.
Probably mattress needs changing.
Delightfully atmospheric, reflecting its Victorian past but with modernisations underway. Magnificent sea views. Comfortable beds.
Still lots of redecoration and upgrades to do - they are underway but it’s a big hotel! Not all the bathrooms are updated yet. Ours was clean and functional but decor and facilities tired. The handle and lock on the door was broken but a friendly and helpful maintenance man replaced it promptly.
The location is excellent
In need of a lot of restoration the bedroom was in need of a lot of work plaster falling off the walls paint missing evidence of water damage and mold around windows
Plenty of parking, impressive building with a stunning sea view and a short walk to town.
Fantastic breakfast
Nice place, staff friendly n polite, I wouldn’t call the room 403 as executive, chips on the wall next to the desk, no toilet brush, breakfast was inconsistent, once we had one rasher of bacon n once we had two. Once the scrambled egg was runny once it wasn’t. Stains on the carpet, could barely reach the windows to close them….not executive at all
My female partner didn’t want to stay because the glass in the bathroom at the bottom was stained but the top half wasn’t n she was paranoid about the property overlooking room 403 had people from the property overlooking our room had high powered binoculars to see her topless. Luckily she had friends stay at Kings Charles Quauy (I think it’s called) and was able to share a room, we came down for a wedding.
Kept upto date with Ali Ely colour palette. Very relaxing
A great location with lovely views. The communal rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable.
Our room was in need of refurbishment, the curtains were in a very bad condition and some the furniture needed to be replaced.
