Hotel Campo Verde

It feels like you are staying at a botanical garden surrounded by hibiscus and other plants with nearby native animals in the surrounding rainforest. We were awakened by the call of howler monkeys and the peeps of geckos every morning at sunrise, and saw toucans and other birds nesting in nearby tress during the day - mostly early morning and near dusk. Also families of howler monkeys in the trees. The hotel area includes a trail (about 1.5 km) into the rainforest and across a creek that is well maintained and similar to those at Silencio or Mistico. The buffet breakfast was fantastic!

The property is very well kept, with lovely plants that attract all types of birds to watch with the Arenal volcano in the backdrop. Our villa was comfy and had a porch that allowed one to sip coffee and enjoy the view. It is also close to the excursions we chose to do, with a great breakfast buffet with local and traditional options to choose from. Would highly recommend!

The road inside is not paved, is a dirt road. The cabins are big with lots of space. This property is very small with 12 or 14 cabins only. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a good variety of food and very tasty. we liked everything they prepared, On the back of the property they have a trail that end in a river , very nice walk. The property is literally at the foot of the Arenal volcano, you will have astonish view from your front porch.

Breakfast was fresh and delicious. Hotel is surrounded by great vegetation and grass.

They have a nice 1 to 2 mile trail onsite in the forest with streams. Really nice place to be

It is very clean eco friendly, we enjoyed staying there for 2 nights. Nice view of volcano arenel from the room, nice trail within the property. I highly recommend.

Nice property. A few ants. Have stayed there before and would again. Pull out bed very uncomfortable. Nice trail on the property and good breakfast.

Amazing piece, right in the middle of the nature. Beautiful big room, renovated bathroom, hot water. Safe, fridge and coffee maker in the room. We also had a sitting area with the sofa. Very comfy bed. Excellent traditional breakfast. Nice patio to sit outside and watch birds (lots of hummingbirds, toucans etc.). Very good own hiking trail.

Very homey. Bed was comfortable and the atmosphere was nice and quite. Very nice hotel.

Adorable lodges on a beautiful property. Plus the volcano view outside your room never gets old!!

The stay was fine. The rooms are not the newest but in acceptable condition The location is great and offers great views. Unfortunately I have forgotten an item of clothing behind that I came for the next morning and guest services advised it was not there. Very disappointing.

It was so wonderful here. We stayed two nights. The sustainable farm element was a wonderful bonus that we loved. Sunsets and rainbow sitings were spectacular here. All the staff were so lovely and accommodating. It was always a pleasure to interact with them. It was about 25 min. drive to selvatura

Getting to look at the Volcano was amazing while relaxing on our deck to the cabin. The staff were really great and friendly. Would recommend this place.
