Pros:

I stayed a week - really liked have a decent washing machine and dryer in the basement - with powder and all the bits was a lovely surprise. Getting vouchers for breakfast in the cafe downstairs was ideal - so anytime after 8am you could wander down - none of this 'breakfast finishes at 10am nonsense'

Cons:

I really am struggling to think of ways they could improve - it was near perfect in my opinion. Its a touch expensive but i'd stay here again without hesitation.

An amazing stay.

If you are considering staying with the circus apartments, I can tell you right now to book your stay without hesitation. Here's why!

The apartment
My family and I stayed at the "Gross" apartment on the sixth floor. The apartment was large, spacious, and well decorated. The view from the balcony was incredible and from the rooftop even better. There were plenty of comfortable seats both on the roof and in the house. Additionally, the attention to detail was spectacular - from the clothes bag in the shower to the arranged soaps, the option to lend umbrellas, yoga mats, or even houseplants for free, and the incredibly well-organized laundry room downstairs.

The conceriege
Any guest staying at the circus apartments has access to the conceriege service. The office is manned by some of the loveliest, friendliest, most knowledgeable people. Their insight about history, attractions in the city, and modes of transportation is unparalleled, and taking the time to consult with them is always worth it. Special shout out to May, an absolutely amazing human being (May if you're reading this we love you!!!!) and Andreas, owner of the circus, whose passion for his job is absolutely inspiring.

The breakfast
Choosing the "breakfast included" option will give you breakfast vouchers to the neighboring café - Erchy's. This is the best cafe I have ever been to. My family and I stayed here for five days so we got to try out roughly the whole menu, and let me tell you - every single dish easily earns the rank of "art". They are well thought out, flavorful, generous in portion, and most importantly, delicious. They are incredible and I cannot recommend them enough. One tip though - ask for the tomato soup/hot chocolate to be extra warmed up to get the full experience out of them.

Conclusion
Visit the circus apartments. You will not regret your choice :)

Our stay in Berlin
Pros:

Myself and my family stayed in the circus apartments for 1 week. The apartment was spacious, with a long balcony in the living area. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee and a stove top espresso maker.

The living area was large and comfortable - with ample seating for us all.

The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms spacious and quiet.

The apartment was in a great location- a short walk from Alexanderplatz. There were lots of great restaurants in walking distance from our apartment and a good supermarket 5 minutes walk away.

What I really loved about the circus apartments was the lovely staff at reception. They were so helpful- gave us lots of advice when we first arrived and were always keen for us to take some of the free snacks available at reception! They even gave me a yoga mat so I could do some yoga each morning!

I'd definitely come back to the Circus apartments- I loved it.

e stayed here as a family and had an outstanding experience. The hotel is beautiful, the apartment was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable for a family stay, with everything we needed close by.

What truly stood out was the service. The staff handled our request for flexibility with exceptional understanding, fairness, and genuine hospitality, going well beyond expectations.

Service like this is rare. We would happily return and highly recommend

Modern and well appointed apartment for the price of a hotel room. Great value!
Pros:

We really liked this place. Clean and well appointed, and in a good central location. We prefer staying in apartments rather than hotels because the extra room is great. And this was no more expensive than a hotel. Free laundry machines in the basement, and free snacks in the concierge room (office). Highly recommend!

Very mediocre and uncomfortable

The location and staff were nice.

Cons:

The space and overall experience felt more like a hostel, rather than an elevated apartment. The shower was uncomfortable, dangerously high and soaked the floor if not angled just the right way. The floors were not properly cleaned, there were dust bunnies and hairs throughout. The biggest disappointment and issue was the bed linens, they were a polyester blend that was extremely uncomfortable and scratchy. The high ratings are very misleading.
