Very disappointing.

The restaurant was very nice, happy hour with lovely staff.

We had asked for a quiet room but we constantly had people going to the other amenities past our window at all times, the pool was nearby too. Our fridge was turned off when we arrived so there was a pool of water, it was attended to but the next morning when we went to make a cuppa the milk had curdled. The coffee machine also leaked and created another pool of water which the cleaners didn't bother to attend to. The bed was untidily made, pillowcases not even on the pillows properly. The receptionist refused to answer the locked door at 6.25pm when my husband had a query. There's more but I will stop there.

Excellent place in a great location
Pros:

It's in a very good location in the centre of Anglesea, near the river. The negative of that is that our choice of room with river view was very close to the Great Ocean Road, but that can't be helped if you want to overlook the beach on the surf coast. The kitchen/living area was VERY spacious and well furnished, and the two bedrooms and bathroom were excellent. Staff were super helpful, all facilities were excellent and everything was very clean and well looked after.

Cons:

Just two things could have been better. It was perishingly cold for much of our stay, and heating for this huge apartment relied on a reverse cycle air conditioner and a couple of fan heaters, which were barely adequate. Also, the well appointed kitchen had no sharp fruit and veg knives, and rather limited crockery and cutlery, and it seemed like they weren't really equipping you for self catering if that is what you wanted to do.

Every nice. I would stay again if I was in the area. The rooms were just closer together than expected. Other than that

Lovely hotel with very good facilities

Room was opposite pool. Great location. Room was excellent. Very comfortable bed.

Cons:

Was disappointed with breakfast. We had a lovely raisin loaf with butter and jam and orange juice. Could have served croissants in breakfast bag, but what we had was very nice
